Game of Thrones S8 E4 'The Last of the Starks'

I’m still working on getting this uploaded the correct way. But the upload is moving very slowly. Fingers crossed that the original way we view these on Patreon is uploaded within the next few hours.

We had such a roller coaster ride up and down with Theon, but his redemption in the end allowed the distraction long enough for Arya to kill the Night King. I also hated seeing Little Lady Mormont die as well, but she did kill a giant.

2025-04-11 04:45:57 +0000 UTCI think what I found so frustrating about this episode was how it felt like we've spent so many seasons watching Jamie grow. Cersei has stayed stagnant, but Jamie went to fight the white walkers. He had the moment with Bran. Being with Brienne seemed like that final piece of the puzzle of what was one of the best growth arcs I could remember from a show, and then he just rejects it. And I get that that's probably realistic, but gosh was it disappointing. And even from just a story perspective, I don't know that I agree with it.
