I've seen a couple of videos of Maisie Williams talking about her terrible childhood and how she had low self esteem. She also said because of what she went through as a child it made it easier to relate with Arya and how she would handle what terror Arya went through in GOT. Being 12 years old when she started in GOT was very young to do such an incredible job as the character. She has since opened up about her family life and the problems she had to help kids deal. Just an amazing lady!

2025-05-09 12:23:22 +0000 UTCIt was great to watch this with you! Though I can barely watch the last two episodes. They raced through the story here. Dany's decline happened way too quickly. They chose a new king way too quickly. They didn't give the story a chance to breathe. I think they needed a 10-episode season to flesh out this final part of the story.

2025-05-07 00:28:26 +0000 UTCAll caught up on your reactions after travelling this weekend. I'm content with the ending for 2 of the 3 Starks and for Jon. Bran's ending is out of nowhere. But Jon, Sansa, and Arya all kind of ended up where they wanted to be at the beginning of the series. That had no idea of the tremendous cost it would take to get there, bit they made it. I wish we could watch this in some alternate universe where the source material was completed before this series was. It would have made a big difference in what we saw in Season 5, and especially 6 & 7. Alas.
