2025-08-11 02:39:32 +0000 UTCIt's really how it goes though isn't it? The "Just one more job" thing, famous last words. Hubris gets any genius it seems, they fool themselves and risk more than ever was necessary. idk I always love the way when watching it the first time, this was what they left us with in suspense for months on months on months haha but lucky for you, you only have to wait a few days lol. Thanks for the drops and look forward to the next cool reactions! have a great Tuesday everyone.

2025-05-13 21:28:21 +0000 UTCI've often thought the recurring fly symbolism, along with the whole Vamonos Pest Control cover, is an oblique reference to "Lord of the Flies," a famous novel about how easily civilized people can become evil savages. It's very fitting for Walt's character. I think the fly episode in a meta sense was Walt trying to stop the evil he felt growing inside him. Jesse was even willing to risk his life to get that damned fly, until Walt finally gave up on the idea of killing it to stop it from contaminating everything (meaning his life as well as the cook). If you look at it that way, it's actually a pretty deep episode. The cast of characters in the book aligns pretty well with the Breaking Bad lineup, as well, with Hank being the equivalent of Ralph, the boy trying to protect civilization; Walt being Jack, the manipulative leader of the Hunters who craves power; and Jesse being equivalent to Simon, the only inherently kind character in the bunch. Sorry, just felt like rambling. It's a good novel.

2025-05-13 00:01:59 +0000 UTCIt's funny how people get caught in the ways they least expect. Al Capone was caught because he loved movies and came out of hiding to go to the theater. Buckle up girl the rest is going to be a great ride!

2025-05-12 22:13:14 +0000 UTCPeople do not realize how scary Walt/Heisenberg is. Nothing left of Walt now. All Heisenberg. In a deleted scene shown in the behind the scenes documentary, Saul stops at Jesse's house and gave him a gun to protect himself. After Walt had the lawyer and 9 guys killed in prison, Saul is worried that him and Jesse know more than anyone else and are next on the hit list. I thought the same thing and wondered if that was a bomb in the money bag. What an end that would be for Jesse, with parts of him blown all over the neighborhood!
