Laenor which you saw on Seasmoke had an even higher claim at the great council than Viserys did. The great council was more about Laenor's and Viserys claim than Rhaenys and Viserys claim. Though there wasnt a real succession law established yet for the iron throne. Based on andal law back then, Rhaenys should have been crowned as she and her son Laenor were the senior line, while Viserys was the junior line. The only real thing was, that Laenor was almost an infant at the time. And the lords surely did not want to wait for him so come off age, so they chose Viserys.

Daemon wants this to be his win, but if the Crown sends aid, it would suddenly be the King winning, instead of the rogue prince. It's all about pride, for either party. Also, you mentioned the Crab-Feeder looking gnarly. I believe, but may not be correct, that he has greyscale, the same affliction that both Stannis's daughter, Shireen, had, and that later Ser Jorah contracts in Valyria, which Sam cures him of in the Citadel.

2025-05-17 13:20:09 +0000 UTCThe reason Damon gets so mad at the end is because even though he knows in his mind that they need help or to shake things up to defeat the Crab Feeder, he hates the idea of being seen as a failure in anyone’s eyes.. Especially the older brother who disinherited him and whom he is currently on bad terms with. It always comes down to pride lol but thats also what motivated him! And yes girl as of this episode, you’ve only seen three dragons so far but as someone who has read the book and is caught up on the current season, we still haven’t seen all of them yet where season two left off on. I am in love with the dragons ALL of them. And its super cool because now in this series you’re gonna learn even more about dragons. And yes I love Damon even though I don’t support his madness at all times hahah
