The Fifth Element (1997) Full Length

Saddens me we don't get fun movies like this anymore. Just superhero crud over and over and bad Star Wars. 2015+ has generally been so bad for movies and even TV shows.

Tim

Favorite Bruce Willis, Die Hard. I still hear quotes from that movie.

Amber, this is a really fun sci-fi comedy. It’s got a great cast too. I really enjoyed Gary Sinise as the villain, as usual. Bruce does his usual great job as the male lead. Milla Jovovich does a fine job as the supreme being. All-in-all it’s an enjoyable romp through the universe. Everyone played their parts well and the special effects were very well done in my opinion. Amber always makes it fun to watch movies with her! She’s my very favorite reactor for movies! I also love her music reactions. She is extremely insightful about reactions too. I have been following her for years now and have turned on some of my friends to her channel. Most of us like similar music, though not completely the same. In my opinion she is well worth watching, not to mention very easy on the eyes. I’ll be watching to see what she picks next!

Have I thrown Tank Girl into the conversations yet? Based off a comic. I love Lori Petty. Pa-pa-pa-pow!

So that’s actually on my list because it looks so interesting and the cast is stellar. I’ve been wanting to watch it since it was suggested a long time ago.

Did anyone give Death Becomes Her? Great Bruce Willis, Goldie Hawn and Meryl Streep.

My favorite Bruce Willis movie is Die Hard.

1:45:00 Pathetic hotel security: it took the bomb detectors 15 minutes to detect the bomb after it had been activated. Did you recognize The Priest as Bilbo Baggins? The bulky suits the Mondoshawans wore remind me somewhat of the environmental suits used by the Vorlons on Babylon 5. (I highly recommend watching that series, and at least a couple of the movies.)

Michael Griffin

Recommendation: Sci-Fi... 2001 A Space Odessey 1968. Great story and amazing special effects.

My Bruce Willis favorite is actually not one of his entertaining movies but was his first stint in television before he became famous with the movies and the tv show was called Moonlighting (1985 - 1989) I was 14 in 85👴🏾👍🏾 with probably the best sounding theme song in tv...with the incomparable jazz artist Al Jarreau...worth a "listening🎧 reaction" alone.👌👍🏾👏🏾🙏

Milla Jovovich is one of my favorite actresses! You saw her daughter playing young Natasha in Black Widow. (the blue haired girl). This is one of my favorite Bruce Willis movies as well . Just a classic and I'm so happy to get to share it with you! :) My favorites are: Die hard, Die Hard 3(2 sucks), and Death Becomes Her, the sixth Sense and Unbreakable. Sorry he's done too many good ones to pick just one.

Fantastic reaction to a person favorite film of mine. Thank you for this Amber!

That was great, haven't seen it in decades, forgot most of it! I kept waiting for Deebo to come toolin' in on a stolen bike!! I grew up watching In Search of... in the late 70s with Leonard Nemoy--in search of extraterrestrials, long lost civilizations, magic & witchcraft, etc. depending on the episode. Did you throw out the term "B.F."??? Have you seen White Chicks with the Wayans bros. (two of) and Terry Crewes??? If not...add it to your list! The priest was played by Sir Ian Holmes, who also played Bilbo in the LOTR trilogy. Gary Oldman seems to kill every role he has--like this, Office Space, Dracula ('92) and countless others! One of the ship's officers--the 'negotiator'--was also in There's Something About Mary with Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz. Another romantic comedy to add to your list if you haven't already seen it.

Oh, and if you want a couple more sci-fi flicks: - Galaxy Quest (sci-fi comedy featuring the late Alan Rickman, plus an amazing rest of the cast including Sigourney Weaver, Sam Rockwell, Tony Shalhoub, and Rainn Wilson). - Event Horizon (sci-fi horror featuring the incomparable Laurence Fishburne and Sam Neill). I'm pretty sure Event Horizon gets mentioned in the fourth Thor movie, too!
