sinners is such a great movie as it has so many layers of story that you cant just watch it once , but still doesnt beat interview with the vampire tv show as that is truly incredible.

And thank you for creating such relatable content, piercing the veil (like in this Sinners reaction, that I just watched on Patreon first). But to your point, Annie was the heart of the film. Once she was gone, all hope went out the window for me, and not just for those at the Juke, but she was keeping the community intact with her store. There were quite a few influences on this movie, but according to Coogler not the ones you might think. Like one of the influences was was "Puss In Boots" with the red color of the eyes from the wolf. Other influences were "The Twilight Zone", Salem's Lot and "The Thing". Not sure if you have seen those, but if not they are worth a watch and I would tune in early...
