Breaking Bad S5 E16 'Felina' Full Length

Comments

Hi Amber, I have only watched the show once years ago and forgot so much of it. I had a great time rewatching it with you! I look forward to seeing your future content, keep up the great work!

Now onto El Camino the movie epilogue or better call Saul the prequel that surprises and delights to no end in its one really neat unique way.

Baby Blue by Badfinger. Final song.

We saw what Walter's pride, stubbornness, and hubris led to when he was in the meth business. We saw how easily he lied, how easily he was able to manipulate people. We saw that he even started to believe his own lies. Do we truly trust him as a reliable narrator on what went down in Grey Matter? Do we really think he was screwed over through no fault of his own? I'm not so sure. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you.

What a great journey this has been! I truly enjoy seeing people fall in love with the art the I also love. It's what make reactions so compelling for me. This is a fine example of great television writing. They always knew where they were headed and were careful not to wander too far into the weeds on the way there, didn't drag on for way too long, and every story developed the characters and let them grow and change. I loved it the first time and whatever time this was (I've stopped counting). FWIW, I love Better Call Saul even more, and I did not expect to! Vince Gilligan and his team have me as fan for whatever they come up with next. Should you decide to take that BCS journey, I'll certainly be watching along!

In case it wasn’t obvious, Felina is an anagram for “Finale”.

Great ending! Unlike a lot of series that flub out in their finales. The only things that were left hanging were 2 minor unimportant things. 1st: How long did Huel wait in that motel room for Hank and Gomez to return?! 2nd: Back in season 4, is Tucker the meth head still digging a hole in his front yard?! This finale is a blueprint for all other series to follow when ending.

Definitely gotta do the movie, El Camino, and then Better Call Saul! 😁🎉

If I were put in a situation where I wasn’t going to be around to take care of my wife & children there’s a good chance I would have done what Walt did if that was the only option. Maybe not the same way but ultimately everyone else would be expendable if it meant my family would be taken care of. I’d hate myself for it but I’d do it nonetheless.

Amber, I'm curious if you think Hank was always the monster that he shows to be in the last season or if he was an average bland guy and developed into the monster throughout the series. I've seen people argue both sides and am just curious what your perspective is.
