Curing Osbourne *kills* the Goblin. It's literally a win-win. That being said: the amount of bloodthirst from people, (including myself,) over this is exactly why none of us deserve to be Spiderman.

But it occurs to me that all the trouble could have been avoided if Dr. Strange had just given it a little more thought and made the world forget that Mysterio had revealed Spider-Man's identity, instead of making everyone forget that Peter was Spider-Man. I guess it would have been a very different movie though. Anyway, you might notice at the end there that Spidey swings past the big Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center. When you get around to Hawkeye, it's a Christmas series, so it's fun to think Hawkeye might have seen Spider-man swing by.

As the one person who was the expert in magic there he didn’t think it would be a good idea to hesitate for half a second before casting his spell to explain the fact that this was a potentially reality bending spell and to make sure we know what we’re doing first before just starting to cast it.
