100% Team Black. Rhaenyra was immature as a teen and is now a better woman. Watch closely for direct comparison between Rhaenyra and Alicent. Resentments are what will lead to the real war within the family. Alicent was forced to marry Viserys at a young age without choice, Aemond was bullied as a child and then lost his eye(his fault completely), and Rhaenyra wanted freedom to do what she wants while being heard. Its not Rhaenyra's fault she didn't get pregnant by Laenor, she tried and I cant blame her for wanting children anyway. It wouldn't have mattered is she was a man. I understand Alicent and her anger. She'll never be Aemma, Viserys' first wife, who he truly loved and her children aren't Rhaenyra. I believe he chooses Rhaenyra over all for that reason.

Your right. Perfect sense. Thank you

Daemon may have wanted to spare Laena and choose her over the baby, but that isn't possible. In order for her to survive, the baby had to come out. She wasn't able to push it out, the only other option is to cut it out. If they hadn't she wouldve died from infection once the baby passed away inside her. Laena knew there was no surviving it and chose to die a dragon rider's death instead.

Team Black- Rhaenyra. I’m predicting you will be to as you keep watching. My theory on why Rhaenyra up to this point has been viewed as immoral and wild is because she is constantly compared to Alicent. At least in the way these episodes are constructed for the audience. Compared to the rest of Westeros, she really isn’t that bad of a person and we can see through several scenes that she does have a good heart.

8:20 "So he doesn't have a problem knowing that these are not his grandchildren by blood?" Lord Corlys accepts reality for what it is. And this is what triggered Daemon's laughter at the funeral: the orator's line about Valeryan blood being pure and remaining pure.
