That was a great ending to the series. I have to admit, when I saw the title, I thought of Steve Martin's 'special purpose' from The Jerk LOL But...nope...COMPLETELY different thing ENTIRELY...those who know know LOL To kill or not to kill Sophie, that was certainly the conundrum. Think of the conversation Loki & Mobius had about the 8yr old variant and how he NEEDED to be killed. It made you think maybe he SHOULD kill Sophie. But...her death would certainly mean something different than the child variant's death. I, too, enjoyed Owen Wilson's Mobius. It's funny 'cause he was Mobius, but with a little sprinkling of himself (Owen) in him, but not enough to be like they just plucked him out of some comedy. I thought he was great. I am one that, while I've watched a lot of the movies--more so previously than from this point on--I never saw Loki, never saw Wanda Vision, never saw Hawkeye. Some of the movies made references to these shows and while I was never necessarily lost, I knew 'OK, that was something that happened previously' (in one of these shows.) Having now seen Wanda Vision and Loki, it fills in some holes, or gave me some 'ahhhh!' moments, which is good. I gotta say, 'watch order' is SUCH a hot button topic...one that I shall NOT even dip my toe in!! The same would happen with the whole Star Wars franchise. Crazy stuff...but people get committed, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
