I'm totally on Pam's side in this episode! Michael should have never started dating the mother of one of his employees and then also brought that fact into the workplace by telling her for the first time while at work. He's continually calling Pam's mom his "lover" while in the workplace and then reprimanding on personal matters as if he's her father in the workplace. He brought the professionalism down by doing that and Pam was just justifiably continuing it. Also Pam is pregnant and may be a bit hormonal so I give her all the passes. This episode has so many great parts like while Pam is chanting "no more meetings" in the background you can see Stanley happily smiling and chanting along with her lol. It's one of the happiest I've seen Stanley up to this point. Pretzel Day and Pam chanting "no more meetings" brings so much happiness out of Stanley. Also I love how after Michael tells Jim and Toby comes into the room/interrupts them.... Jim says "Shut up Toby!" LOL It's so funny!

2025-07-04 06:06:16 +0000 UTCIncidentally, two of my favorite scenes from "There's Something About Mary" were the 'franks'n'beans' scene AND the hair gel scene!! Oh, and finding out "Brett" was actually Brett Favvvvvrere!! LOL So many great scenes and lines in that movie, though! Also great seeing Markie Post in it, who I used to watch in the mid-80s sitcom Night Court. This was a great Office episode. Yes, Pam sort of brought it into the workplace, but Michael did first by telling Jim he was dating Pam's mom, sooooo....maybe an overreaction on Pam's part, but under the circumstances, not by much, I'd say.
