It’s been awhile since I heard the phrase, “What the Sam Hell…” Fun Fact: You now know about the Crickets and one of them was Sonny Curtis who wrote “I Fought the Law” recorded by the Bobby Fuller Four and others, plus “Love is All Around” the theme to the Mary Tyler Moore Show (70s TV comedy) and covered by Joan Jett.

Gary Busey gives a performance of a lifetime as Buddy and he does all the performances himself!! Buddy Holley had a professional career that only lasted two and a half years but his contributions and influence are still being felt today! Wrap your head around the fact that we have Madonna, Britney Spears, and the Justin Biebers of the World that have been around for over 20, 30, 40 years that haven’t even scratched the surface in giving the music world what Buddy gave in less than three!!! The Beatles actually picked their band name because of Buddy’s original band name The Crickets! Sir Paul McCartney credits Buddy as one of his and John Lennon’s biggest influences!
