Rachel missed something there when she shows Bruce how bad things were: he said, "Your system is broken", she gets upset, but yet shows Bruce that the system is broken, especially with her showing where Falcone is and nothing is done about it.

2025-11-14 21:40:31 +0000 UTCI'm glad Christopher Nolan chose the more authentic version of Batman's parents being killed by a "common criminal" and not one of his Rogue's gallery. Makes it all the more tragic, and makes his fight against crime all the more genuine and deep considering this one man took his parents away, but also showed a social-economic perspective of what happens when times are tough and some unfortunately turn to crime to get by.

2025-11-14 21:22:24 +0000 UTCI would strongly recommend the 1989 Batman movie, and its sequels. As well as the Batman Animated series. It set the stage for what would eventually be the DC Animated Universe.
