SERGEANT ROCK'S HEADBANGERS BALL
2025-07-26 09:03:11 +0000 UTCAh, the ol' appeal process. You've gotta love it. I've been lucky with mine, I must say. I've seen Ozzy multiple times since my childhood. I may be old, but I saw Ozzy and Randy onstage together! We've lost so many of our childhood heroes this month. Thirty stars whose light faded permanently will live on in our hearts and memories forever in the month of July. We're just glad to have you as part of our metal family, Ambs. This track comes from the Ordinary Man album. Andrew Watt, who played guitar on this record, also produced it. One thing about Ozzy: he and Sharon knew how to put together literal supergroups. Watt on guitar, Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers on drums, and the almighty Duff McKagan from Guns N' Roses on bass! This is the Summer of Oz! As for your videos getting blocked, a question: do you have legal counsel on retainer? I've seen a lot of reaction channels move to that. My appeals rely on both fair use and public domain arguments. My YouTube channel serves as a repository for music I feature on SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball. Most of the copyright issues I encounter I'm able to resolve with the artist's permission, and I win my fair use appeals because I've re-edited and remastered the tracks. I remember when YouTube first came online, it was the Wild West, man. Us metalheads were posting video after video after video. In 2016, that's when the channel deletions happened because the labels and distributors didn't like us Metalheads using YouTube as the new Napster. And boom, my channel got nuked. 55K plus subs, gone. Oh well. In 2023, I made a decision. MTV wasn't doing Headbangers Ball anymore, so me. I decided, "It' time for the next generations to be able to enjoy that same weekly feeling we GenX headbangers had. "What are they're going to play next week." feeling. With music at our fingertips, we're trying to keep that snippet of Americana Metal Culture alive. But YouTube wasn't having it. First show, Memorial Day 2023, loaded, blocked and 25 copyright claims. SGT Rock's Headbangers Ball, I had to move to Rumble to keep going. And today, 26 July we roll out Episode 114. 2 years, 2 months. We're the No 2. Heavy Metal Program under the Heavy Metal category. Outpacing 80% of the content creators there. But you, with the streaming service and the Rock Video Streaming / Videos section. You'd dominate. Rumble's review process is all manual, and they're more lenient, although they do enforce restrictions for some creators—but not us. Plus, Rumble's payout to content creators is better than YouTube's. I'm sure if you moved to Rumble as a secondary option, not only we but also new fans would follow you over there. They have a great Streamer Partner Program. Please check it out. It would be awesome to see you succeed over there. Rumble has 51 million concurrent monthly viewers, and with their Streamer Partner Program, the sky's the limit. Everyone thinks it's just a "right-wing" video platform. That's furthest from the truth. Great thing about Rumble, it is truly the free speech platform regardless of views, creed or religion. Rumble could be a great secondary option for you. Kick, Odysee, and Vimeo are worth considering too. We posted this on our X, Instagram, and other social media regarding Ozzy's passing: The Veterans of Hill 30 extend to the Osbourne family, friends, and fans our deepest and most heartfelt condolences and prayers regarding your loss. Thank you, Ozzy, for the memories no one can take from us. You will forever remain loved, honored, and remembered on Hill 30. Rest easy now. We have the point. John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne Inserted: 03 December 3, 1948 Marston Green, Birmingham, England Extracted: 22 July 2025 London, United Kingdom Lastly, Amber, check out this video from the one and only The Rageaholic, aka Razorfist, on YouTube. It's a great tribute to Ozzy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0iOCKNuHRCo He has an awesome series called Metal Mythos. I consider Razor the new voice of metal for the Millennial, Gen Z, and Gen Alpha generations. On that note, we here at Hill 30 wish you, yours, and this big ol' family you've built a wicked awesome weekend. - EB

2025-07-26 08:54:13 +0000 UTCThis was later in his career and it was really strong. One of his best, honestly. You should listen to his live “Tribute “ album with Randy Rhodes . One of the top guitarist in the world. Check out the first track “I don’t know”.

2025-07-26 03:05:21 +0000 UTCOzzy now joins the legion of artists who have gone before and whose music lives on and keeps their spirit alive...case in point, the biopics we've watched with you so far.
