The dark knight rises was part of an actual comic story called knightfall plus bane in the comics and cartoons is way more bigger and stronger and was actually a Spanish wrestler. In the comics he became more powerful using a substance called venom. Some of the best stories come from the comics and sometimes is changed for movie purposes.
