Hope your mom's had a good recovery from her injury, Amber. Wishing her all the best and blessings. She's good people. We were rustling through some of our favorites as we put our show back together after losing our whole directory due to a cloud crash. Uffda. So, in the background, we're jammin Mastodon today. One of the all-time best progmetal bands out there. We know you love Tool, so this band is right inside your wheelhouse. Dig it as much as we do (They're killer live as well). Here is their videos page: https://www.youtube.com/@mastodon/videos Enjoy The Veterans of Hill 30

Would love your reaction to live Debbie. You haven’t gone there yet. Here is a link to “Rip Her To Shreds” that will Rock your world https://youtu.be/1wj43OJNnns?si=hk9UKfeKW4eUQUwq

That sounds really cool, the new sprinkling.

So sorry to hear about your mom! I hope she has a very quick and easy recovery ❤️❤️❤️

Heather

Have you tried Debbie Harry's. 'French Kissing in the USA'?

David Berrios Rodriguez

When ever this song plays I envision Richard Gere hang upside down doing vertical crunches.

I am Jussina

Hiya Amber, Blondie was played at our roller rinks to get the wheels rollin'! These songs are timeless, and Debbie Harry will always be the girl on a GenX boy's wall. Right up there with all of the beautiful babies of our time. I had her in between Lita Ford and The Runaways flanked by Linda Carter and Ann Margaret. Us GenX boys always had our "Babe Wall"! Thanks for doing this reaction. With that said...We've gone through all of the songs you've reacted to, and we noticed..."Where's Bob Seger?" Well, we've got the perfect song for you. "Ramblin, Gamblin Man"; two minute and 22 seconds of sheer Bob Seger. This was one of his first songs he performed on the ABC-TV program Happening '68 on February 15, 1969. With 6.3 million views, this is one of the most viewed videos regarding this song. And that live performance is available as well. This song is one of the heaviest songs on the planet and best jams ever written. We home this...makes you smile! Enjoy! - The Veterans of Hill 30 Song: Ramblin' Gamblin' Man Artist: Bob Seger System Album: Ramblin' Gamblin' Man Label: Capitol Records Date of Release: 05 April 1969 (I was just about to turn 5 months old!) 🤘🤣-EB Video Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kKwXHDs1R6Y (We're putting together our own version for our show on Saturday, 23 August 2023 at noon on Rumble. It's going to be awesome) PS-You won't have any headaches with your music reaction videos on Rumble like you run into on YouTube. - EB

Yes, appelle-moi means call me in french. This was a fun format with the top 3 songs!

This fabulous song was the theme song for the movie 'American Gigolo' with a very young Richard Gere. One of my favorite songs by Blondie is called 'Rip her to shreds'. Hi, Miss Amber's Mom!

Raymond Ohlsen

Love the concept Amber. Let's do it!

Steven Garcia

After all these music reactions, you may as well react to more musicals. One of the more recent ones is a Sony Animated movie called Kpop Demon Hunters. Once you watch the movie once, the songs may become addicting. 😃😊

Please do more of these

Blondie started out as Punk Rock and New Wave, then had these Pop Rock songs as hits. Such a diverse group. The song, Rapture, for instance, delved into Hip Hop and Rap. It was very fresh in the late '70s and early '80s. The '70s had great music, but the (now classic) rock and disco both seemed to be cookie cutter (brick on the wall) productions ran by corporations who wanted to maintain the formula for profits. Blondie helped change that. Call Me was one of my favs!

Phillip Borntrager

Your mom seems very cool, Amber. Can you ask her what her favorite all time band/singer is and her favorite concert that she went to.

Chris Orlando

Well that was a quick correction. 😆 This was Blondie. Well done Amber

I was 8 when this came out. There was a movie that came out at the time called “American Gigolo” which this song was prominently featured in starring a then-unknown actor named Richard Gere.

Sweetish_Jeff_25

And now, without further ado.... BLONDIE!!
