It was beautiful.

2025-08-03 10:32:36 +0000 UTCShe's not talking just about the quality of the education. Oklahoma is violating the establishment clause of the first amendment, which dictates the separation of church and state, by forcing Christian doctrine in public schools and a bunch of other vile shit. I don't think New Mexico is in the same category.

2025-08-02 21:44:25 +0000 UTCI've wondered about your thoughts on the destruction of Oklahoma's public education. I'm right there with you and have even thought "I hope Amber and her family gets the hell out of Oklahoma!" I grew up in Amarillo and the whole region is a mess.

2025-08-02 09:16:46 +0000 UTCI'm sure you know by now, Miss Amber, that this album was made into a movie called 'Pink Floyd's The Wall'. I've seen it a few times already, (a couple of times under the influence) it's really a cool movie. You should react to it here. I've heard that the choir sequence was actually sung by The Vienna Boys' Choir.

2025-08-02 06:57:22 +0000 UTCMy high school graduating class of 1979 voted this as our class song and the school refused to use it and replaced it with Chuck Mangione's "Feelings". Totally justifying the meaning of this song and denied us our rebellion and applied their conformality on our graduating class.

2025-08-02 03:55:56 +0000 UTCAmber, you so embody the notion of being a unique individual. I remember this song when it came out, and unfortunately that's all I had heard of Pink Floyd for decades. I relied on limited radio stations, and they were more of an Album band, rather than hit singles on the radio. So glad that you share your passion for their music with all of us!
