Another juicy episode...got a little racy there in the middle as the king et al were cruising through the brothel!! So, that was MY question: is Daemon 'going after the throne' for his beloved/niece?? Or, for himself?? Daemon being Daemon, I'd put at least a little bit of money on the latter. There is certainly no love lost between Cole and Alicent's brother...and yes, HAVE she and Cole had a parting of the ways?? It certainly seems that way, doesn't it? I got a kick out of how Rhaenyra's council tried to pull an end-around on her! And she having none of it! She ain't no dumb blond! I, too, like Rhaenys. Larys FOR SURE was Littlefinger before Littlefinger was Littlefinger. Maybe there were tales of Larys Strong that Littlefinger read that inspired him to also be weasley and conniving? I didn't much buy what that guy was selling in the...wherever they were...claiming to be the (apparently unknown) uncle to Rhaenyra. Personally I think he was just on a fishing expedition...looking for what info?? No clue. That darn haunted Harrenhal!! That scene with Daemon and that witchy woman (hey! awesome Eagles song, by the way...check it out!) reminded me of that scene with the young Cersei and the witch telling her about...well...Arya and all the eyes she ended up closing. THAT was a great scene! When Rhaenyra was talking to Alicent at the end and talking about the Song of Ice and Fire, Alicent's face looked like she had no clue what Rhaenyra was talking about. I'm pretty sure Alicent knows she is/was in the wrong, but...what? Give up all this???? Now??? Fat chance!
