Let It Be Documentary (2024) Full Length

Comments

It's truly difficult to watch anyone watching this doc reacting to "The Long and Winding Road" right after hearing "Let it Be". It's frankly heartbreaking. It's a masterpiece, but there are like literally 2 or 3 reactors to that song on YT. And its a f****ng masterpiece. Such a shame.

AMBER, I would love to see you react to Ron Howard's documentary "EIGHT DAYS A WEEK, THE BEATLES: The TOURING YEARS" Shows you from 1962 through 1966 the years that they toured and gives you great insight to what Beatlemania looked like, ALSO a FANTASTIC documentary "THE BEATLES FIRST U.S. VISIT" spans the weeks the Beatles first came to America, their first, second and third "ED SULLIVAN SHOW" performances, their first US interview at the airport on Feb. 7, 1964, in their car on the way to the Plaza Hotel, the fans outside, the Beatles in their Hotel Room with Murray the K, NYC disc jockey, on the train to Washington DC for their FIRST U.S. concert at the Washington Coliseum. At the Peppermint Lounge, and while packing in their hotel room getting ready to fly back to the U.K. IT really shows you each of their personalities. The scenes in their car, hotel rooms and on the train are HILARIOUS!!

Patti Crichton

By the way the man at the begining Peter Jackson directed Lord of the rings which I know you love. Also them singing "get back" at the cops was such epic shade.

Amber - I could tell right at 59:48 that you've never heard "The Long and Winding Road". You've never reacted to it. Don't know if you've heard it, but I definitely believe it's near impossible to react to yet another masterpiece that you've never heard right after hearing "Let it Be". But you did. Great reaction. Just hope you realize you heard two masterpieces in a row.

George was about to break out as a major songwriter. Not too long after this George released a triple album entitled "All Things Must Pass"

Joseph Scally

Yes, U2’s roof performance was directly influenced by this. The band paid an homage to the Beatles with that set up.

Amber, you really need to give Get Back a try, it covers so much more of the context surrounding this movie. And definitely will answer the majority of the questions you had throughout Let It Be. It's sensational.
