It's called Paul, the 3rd film by them. It is a must watch. They got better with every film. Paul was just flat brilliantly hilarious.

2025-08-19 17:29:27 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite movies of all time. Top ten for sure. The mix of comedy, mystery and action is perfect, IMO. The next one in the Cornetto Trilogy is The World's End. If you like these actors, you need to also check out Paul and Run Fat Boy Run. One of the things I love about this film is that everything pays off or is called back in the end. Even the little boy in the final fight scene. Remember earlier when Sgt. Angel is arguing with the Andies, one of them comments, "If you want to be a big cop in a small town, why don't you f--- off round the Model Village?" And when Angel asks the Andies why they don't look into Martin Blower's clients, they say he represents half the village, and "what do you want us to do, go through the phone book? Start with, uh, Aaron A. Aaronsen?" Which happens to be the name of the little boy in the Model Village, and explains why when the boy says his name, Angel looks surprised and say "Excuse me?" because the Andies weren't just making it up. Simon Pegg (Angel) is one of the most likable character actors around. And put him in a room with Nick Frost (Danny) and they're hilarious. I wish they would do more films together.

2025-08-18 20:51:19 +0000 UTCNot sure what editing tool they/you are using for Patreon, but some movies have lower audio by default. But most of them match in the amplitude (height of the sound waves or audio track), and all that needs to be done is matching the amplitude of each one. So when people turn down the volume of the reaction, both will go down the same amount (amplitude).

2025-08-18 17:38:00 +0000 UTCThe 1991 original. Not the utterly unnecessary 2015 remake.

2025-08-18 11:22:50 +0000 UTCAnother great comedy w/ Simon Pegg & Nick Frost--and Seth Rogan is the 'alien comedy' "Paul" 👍👍

2025-08-18 04:53:06 +0000 UTCI've never seen this movie before, how did I miss this gem? It was hilarious! Stacked cast, too with Simon Peg, Jim Broadbent, Olivia Coleman, Timothy Dalton and Paddy Constantine.

2025-08-18 03:30:51 +0000 UTCHey, Amber! Amazing reaction. It’s a trilogy of unrelated movies. The only thing linking them are the Cornetto brand ice cream 🍦 cones that are shown in each film.

2025-08-18 03:27:24 +0000 UTCSo, this is the second of what is known as the "Three Falvours Cornetto" trilogy. Apart from writers and some core cast memebers, the only thing that links them is that in all three (the 3rd is "The World's End") is that the small Cornetto ice cream cone makes an appearance--in this one, Angel and Butterman were both eating one later in the film, while Butterman had one earlier. I think this is my favorite of the three. It had a star studded cast from the likes of GOT (Michael "Yarp" was The Hound and Mr Welbly--the mumbly guy with the sea mine--was Walder Frey), to HOTD (Det. Andy Wainright was also King Viserys--probably easier to spot minus the beard and with a blond wig.) Also, Timothy Dalton (Skinner) was 007 in 2 of the James Bond movies. I think there were a few folks from the Harry Potterr world, too, but I'm not as familiar. And yes, as previously mentioned, "two fingers up" is pretty much THEIR version of OUR middle finger. Interestingly, I read that it got it's origins in archery, where after a battle, archers would hold those two fingers up to show that they still had them. Changed a bit since then! If you like murder mysteries, you should check out "Knives Out" and it's follow up "Glass Onion". Both fantastic with star studded casts.

2025-08-18 01:58:09 +0000 UTCHi! Amber, love the movies. Just wondered if there’s a way i can turn the sound off the movie up to match you. It is hard to hear the movie (most of them) and have you for comment. It’s maddening !

2025-08-18 00:37:28 +0000 UTCI'm sorry to say...it is an offensive gesture, the British version of the middle finger.

2025-08-17 23:32:35 +0000 UTCYes! The worlds end is next! After that, its not a part of this trilogy of course, but its damn good! with Simon and Nick, its called Paul :) I love this one so much - NO Z words either, just a crazy, pesky cult! LOL. I lived in the West country (As we call it) and, trust me, some of them are um, a little bit like that with their small towns that are ''perfect'' in their eyes. lol

2025-08-17 22:26:55 +0000 UTCNow that you have watched this maybe go back and watch the original 1973 version of The Wicker Man then you'll see the origins. I've suggested that to you numerous times over the years here and on other platforms 😁 Too bad you started in the wrong place again lol 😁
