It saddens me to think that neither her nor Julia Lennon ever saw their boys change the world with their music. Paul was going through a tough, stressful time with the Beatles’ business side and the band falling apart. She came to him in a dream. And in the dream she told him, “it’s going to be ok, don’t worry. Just let it be”. And he immediately woke up feeling comforted and relieved. So he went to the piano and wrote this masterpiece.
