2025-09-09 06:03:56 +0000 UTCAMBER, I CAN'T BELIEVE that you have NEVER seen any other movie with MERYL STREEP starring in it!!! SHE is at the top of best actress since the '70s. She is also a HUGE BEATLES' and PAUL McCARTNEY" fan. In fact she was at the Beatles' Aug. 15, 1965 concert at SHEA STADIUM, the first ever rock concert in a stadium that size. 55.000 fans attending. She was 15 years old then, Whoopi Goldberg was also at that concert as well, she was about 10 years old then. **** Meryl is an INCREDIBLE actress that has done just about any type of movie role. She is AMAZING at being able to speak with different accents, and imitate other living people. She has played Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, in a movie about her, and also the famous PBS cook Julia Child in a movie about HER life. SHE has done 70 movies over her career starting in 1976. TOO many to mention here, GOOGLE a list of all her movies, and you can see them, hopefully you will get the list that actually shows the movie poster for each one, SHe has NOT EVER made a BAD movie or bad acting job, she is incredible. ******** I have to tell you that Stellan Skarsgaard that played "Bill" in "Mama Mia" (the blonde wearing the vest over a concert t-shirt when they arrived at Donna's) that the concert T-shirt he was wearing under the vest was from PAUL McCARTNEY'S concert tour in 1989-1990, BUT he was wearing it BACKWARDS. He had the BACK in the front, the picture of PAUL on the front was on his back under the vest. But if you could pause and enlarge the shirt you can just about read the "Paul McCartney" in the colored blocks at the top of the shirt, with the list of cities he played on that tour. I KNOW because I have that SAME SHIRT he is wearing, when I went to a couple of Paul's concerts on that tour. When I first saw "MAMA MIA" in the movie theater, I just about lost it when I saw "BILL" in that shirt, because I recognized it right away!

2025-08-24 02:05:31 +0000 UTCIf you love musicals you should check out Xanadu. Olivia Newton-John and Electric Light Orchestra do almost all the music for the movie and the ones they don't do is still awesome

2025-08-23 19:45:33 +0000 UTCSaw 'Mama Mia' live on stage in Las Vegas about 20 years ago. It was so, so good. The music, the storyline, just everything about it. Oddly enough, though, I never watched the movie. Looking forward to watching it with you now.
