This movie is stupid. I don't consider it to exist as part of the storyline. Ben Afflek is the dumbest Batman choice. This movie has so many ridiculous nonsense it is not worth ever watching. 🤣🙄

2025-09-17 17:47:18 +0000 UTCHonestly..... This is the first time that I've ever watched this movie. Reason being I had heard about the ending and I didn't want to see it!!! But, knowing what I know now, I am glad to have finally seen it. Still not happy with the ending, but, I understand more! ❤️😞🖤😞

2025-09-13 05:53:25 +0000 UTCMy 2 cent contribution to the comments is that the pearls scene intertwined with the gun in the Wayne's death scene was taken DIRECTLY...from a "cell" of the Batman comic book and looked exactly the same. Thank you for a great reaction!!!🥰🏆💯👌👏

2025-09-07 03:56:55 +0000 UTCAmber - As most have said on here, Wonder Woman(2017) is very good. Sequel not so much. And yes, Superman did die in the comics (a few times actually) at the hands of this same villain "Doomsday". Although the story was a little different.

2025-09-06 21:31:22 +0000 UTCYou should totally watch Wonder Women. The first one. not the second.

2025-09-06 19:20:58 +0000 UTCBatman was only doing what he thought was right. he saw what Superman was capable of firsthand and, tbh, The Daily Planet plays fast and loose with the headlines (even in the comics the media is sketchy and sensationalist). Superman was destroying villages and Batman had no idea of the reason and connection of Clark to Lois. Batman wasn't the bad guy. Superman made a few assumptions about BM too. two good guys misguided into believing the other was bad and not realizing they were fighting on the same team. And, yes, Superman died several times in the comics including the fight with Doomsday where they killed one another and Supes died in Lois' arms

2025-09-06 04:21:42 +0000 UTCLove Batman he has been my fav since 1976 when I got my first Batman comic that I still have to this day. Out of the Trinity, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Batman is the only one without godlike powers. He is just a mortal.

2025-09-06 02:49:01 +0000 UTCThe first Wonder Woman is my favorite. The second one sucks. For the second one the director thought she could write. She can’t she even lost the star wars movie she was supposed to direct due to the failure of wonder woman 2. I’ve heard her name pronounced Gal Ga-doe or Gal Ga-dot

2025-09-06 02:43:21 +0000 UTCA lot of the criticism of Snyderverse is that it isn't smiling hopeful Supes. I think it is more realistic. Yeah in the 30's Superman would have been different, his clothing reflected the times. even in the 70's they could make a Superman movie that was lighthearted and save the kittens but this is nearly 100 years since Superman was created. IMO he needed to evolve. I have no interest as an adult to watch a campy Superman movie. that's fine for watching with kids but (Besides OG Supes who I still adore) for me I was ready for a conflicted Superman who had some realistic emotions and flaws. he was brought up by flawed people so he was destined to fall short of perfection (except that amazing form... lord) I needed a steamy tub scene vs virginal near misses till movie 2. A little moral ambiguity goes a long way for me. One of the reasons I loved Smallville was that they explored his formative years.

2025-09-06 00:44:32 +0000 UTCAnd yes, stuff like this happens in the comics. But it rarely happens in film. It’s not a favorable outcome for a lot of people. I’m with you on this. I would say something to make you feel better but I don’t wanna give anything away so I’m just gonna be quiet. Let’s just say you will like justice league better

2025-09-06 00:25:30 +0000 UTCI didn’t really like the direction of this film. I didn’t like all the actors either. I think this film rubbed a lot of people the wrong way.

2025-09-05 23:56:21 +0000 UTCHe's Lex Luthor. His father was Lionel Luthor. what he was saying was that his father's name was the "Luthor" in the Luthorcorp. not sure why the change to Lexcorp in this movie. And yes see the first Wonder Woman. part 2 was somewhat disappointing but the first was good. And it makes some what she does/says in this movie and in The Justice League make sense.

2025-09-05 23:54:52 +0000 UTCI'd watch the first Wonder Woman and Aquaman movies. Beautifully made and wonderful movies.

2025-09-05 23:08:53 +0000 UTCOG Superman is where my utter obsession with men with black hair and blue eyes was born. I go a little stupid around them. But Henry Cavill??? can't say I wouldn't faint dead away. He is the way I imagine my book boyfriends... although I imagine him with just a little more moral ambiguity... what can I say? I have a type... And for the record I love Batfleck.

2025-09-05 21:10:03 +0000 UTCI am not sure if anyone mentioned this already but the Dark tone to these movies is because Warner Bros wanted to try replicate the tone of the Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies. Zach Synder made it darker tone.

2025-09-05 20:29:03 +0000 UTCOh yeah…. Watching the MK Batman is necessary to understand The Flash. I thought she would have done reactions to MK version of Batman before she even got to this series. She’s also already done the reaction to suicide squad. Funny she forgot that there was a spoiler about Superman’s death in that movie. 😆

2025-09-05 19:32:05 +0000 UTCAll I have to say about this movie is it’s nonsensical. How did they get this much star power and ruin such a great concept. This movie and the fact that they canceled that already shot Michael Keaton Batman stuff really does not bode well for the Batman franchise that I grew up idolizing Batman.

2025-09-05 16:13:09 +0000 UTCYes but why did Superman/ Clark say save Martha? Bc
Brandon Wheeler
2025-09-05 16:11:23 +0000 UTCOkay, so the Martha thing. It actually makes perfect psychological sense once you key in an extremely important factor: **Bruce Wayne is batshit crazy.** Delusional people often have triggers that can rapidly and radically alter their mindstate. It's why one has to be extremely careful when talking to someone who has broken from reality; you never know what's going to set them off. So mentioning the name of the person who's death caused the trauma, and then relating it to someone else could understandably cause such a shift.

2025-09-05 14:45:54 +0000 UTCBatman versus Superman has always been a debate. Superman has strength and powers while Batman is a strategist with access to gadgets. I’ve always been team Batman but in the 90’s there was a cartoon with Superman and Batman pitted against each other by Lex and The Joker. Great reaction by the way, thank you for all the content

2025-09-05 12:13:52 +0000 UTCThe peach tea the senator recognized was from the conversation Lex had with her in the office. He said can I call you June? I’m not going to drink it.”

2025-09-05 11:51:21 +0000 UTCBatman v Superman comics = epic. This movie….not so much. The way they used “Martha”‘s name as a trigger point for Kal El …….poor writing and not in the comics. Justice league is even worse.
The Mad Icelander
2025-09-05 11:49:14 +0000 UTCAmber, in the comics Doomsday killed Superman. He was Supermans toughest challenge as Bane was to Batman when he broke Batmans back. This was a tough watch from Snyder. I would recommend Matt Reeves version of Batman and just for your own curiosity, you should check out Wonder Woman despite the harsh critics. Happy Amber Reacts Anniversary kiddo.

2025-09-05 11:10:17 +0000 UTCGood reaction but you should have watched the Ultimate edition it restores 31 minutes of plot points cut out of the theatrical edition. Watch Wonder Woman next and then Zack Snyder's Justice League......Do Not Watch the theaterical cut as it was hacked up and completed by another director and is awful! Aquaman can be watched after Zack Snyder's Justice League....there are actually 2 Aquaman films, 2 Wonder Woman films altho Wonder Woman 2 tonally is more like a Chris Reeves Superman film in that it's a throw back and a bit goofier in tone. There is also a Flash film that closes our this version of the DCEU, but you need to watch the Michael Keaton Batman films to appreciate that one.

2025-09-05 10:24:05 +0000 UTCAnd still, they resurrected Superman after just one movie🤣

2025-09-05 09:48:28 +0000 UTCToo much. Half these movies are not worth reaction to imo. Man of Steel she already watched. Suicide Squad she already watched. .... are you checking what's she's already reacted to? Wonder Woman is good. Rest of these are frankly not that great. You didn't mention Matt Reeve's "The Batman". Beats everything on this list hands down.
The Mad Icelander
2025-09-05 09:36:38 +0000 UTCAmber - There's only one incredible movie in the MCU cannon that you haven't reacted to. Despite the MCU being lame overall since Avengers Endgame........Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is the ONLY remaining movie to complete the Guardians Masterpiece.
The Mad Icelander
2025-09-05 09:33:34 +0000 UTCStill didn't do it justice imo. I watched all the "Snyder Directors Cuts" Snyder took it in the wrong direction imo. Hence why it was poorly received by almost everyone except the die hard Snyder fans. Snyder was originally hired to take the DC Comics universe into the future. He messed up big time. Hence why James Gunn(director of the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy) took over for Superman and Matt Reeves took over for "The Batman". Future of DC is safe with them. We don't need any more Snyder.
The Mad Icelander
2025-09-05 09:25:14 +0000 UTCSnyder Cut changed the whole tone of the theatrical release. Just an overall better film!

2025-09-05 07:24:30 +0000 UTCThis arc was 1 of the most popular runs in comics. For me although there are deaths in the MCU they just felt too cartoony. For me, the stakes feel real in DC. That was 1 of many reasons I found SM 25 to be too corny. If u only watch 2 more DC films my suggestions would be Wonder Woman & the Snyder Cut of Justice League!
orlandoJ21
2025-09-05 07:22:53 +0000 UTCBelow is the order of DCEU movies (one TV show) in release order. IMO, nothing after Aquaman really needs to be seen, but I will say Shazam, The Suicide Squad (2nd movie), and Peacemaker are all fun watches. I didn't watch anything after Black Adam (it was so bad, it basically soured me on any more DCEU movies, especially after it became non canon) so I can't speak on those movies - Man of Steel - Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice - Suicide Squad -Wonder Woman -Justice League - Aquaman -Shazam! -Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) -Wonder Woman 1984 -Zack Snyder's Justice League -The Suicide Squad -Peacemaker (TV show) -Black Adam -Shazam! Fury of the Gods -The Flash -Blue Beetle -Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom

2025-09-05 05:06:20 +0000 UTCI almost forgot, yes this happened in the comics. It was huge back then and people had your exact reaction. The monster with Zod and Lex's genetics in this film is Doomsday. You're right though, this movie has an ending feeling like Infinity War...but, you DID see dirt moving! Superman has his own gravitational magnetic field, at least that's one of the theories about his flight and near invulnerability.

2025-09-05 05:02:08 +0000 UTCHi Amber, definitely Wonder Woman next because it's a very good movie and you see her back story and how bad ass powerful she really is. Then Aquaman because that's his intro. Not a bad watch. I think you'll obviously like Mamoa. But then Zack Snyder's Justice League, it's far superior to the one released in the cinema. Flash and Cyborg are introduced in that film. You also get some other heroes and villains in small cameos I.e. Joker for one. But which will it be? 😉
RomanCelt
2025-09-05 04:50:14 +0000 UTCWonder Woman (2017) was the first DCEU movie that I saw, and made me interested in the rest. When I saw it, the theater was filled and people REALLY enjoyed it (like audible cheers). AND YES, you can see Superman on Thumbnails/Posters for Justice League (2017). But my suggested order from here on out would be, where each top-billing member gets an origin story (there are other films): - Wonder Woman (2017) - Justice League (2017) - Aqua Man (2018) - The Flash (2023)

2025-09-05 03:35:30 +0000 UTCSee...I, too, love Amy Adams--and she's pretty good at that acting stuff, too ;-). I miss Michael Caine as Alfred...just a big Michael Caine fan. Russell Crowe was NOT in this. He played Jor-El, Superman's father. Zod was played by Michael Shannon. Senator Finch was played by Holly Hunter, who--you are correct--voiced Elastigirl (aka Mrs. Incredible), and she and Margot Kidder (the 70s/80s Lois Lane) both have a similar quality to their voice--apart from the accent. I think you'd like Wonder Woman--came out the year after this, along with Justice League, and followed the year after by Aquaman. Gal Gadot is kiiiiinda hot! Most people tend to pronounce her last name as if it were French--with a silent T--but SHE pronounces it "guh-dot" with a voiced T--I guess you'd say 'the Israeli way'. My Hebrew's a little weak ;-) The Granny's Peach Tea thing...the senator had stated to Luthor previously that he could basically fill a cup with urine and call it Granny's Peach Tea but it wouldn't fool her. I was kind of on the fence with this one as far as the story line goes--Batman waaasss kind of a huge dick through a good part of it, but at least he came around. I did like Jesse Eisenberg's version of Lex Luthor--he did call himself Alex at the beginning, didn't he?? I, too, was confused for a bit. As for Batman or Superman: all Batman has is money and gadgets, take all that away and what do you have??? Then again...stick Superman in a cloud of Krypto-dust and you pretty much got the same thing as a poor, gadget-less Batman! But...Superman is ALWAYS Superman. Looking forward to what comes next!

2025-09-05 03:19:08 +0000 UTCA few notes: - Batman vs Superman is an iconic run in DC comics. That’s why they made this movie, that particular story is loved by fans - This Batman is different than the ones you are familiar with. This batman is older and a bit more jaded to pure heroism. We see in the bat cave that there is a suit with spray paint on it. That suit is Robin’s suit and the spray paint was done by Joker. An infamous pivot in batman’s character is when The Joker kills Jason Todd (Robin) which that scene implies has happened already in this universe. Batman is in a much darker place after that. - Alexander Luthor is Lex. The Lex that we know. Personally my least favorite interpretation of him but it’s him - The reason the senator knew something was up was because her and Lex had a convo earlier in the movie where they said something about fooling her to drink pee disguised as “granny’s peach tea”. Also she is Elastigirl (Mrs Incredible) lol - The first Wonder Woman movie is pretty good. Idk who told you it wasn’t lol. Gal Gadot is not a good actor or person though, but that movie is really solid and I think you’d probably enjoy it. Worth a watch imo - you knew wonder woman, flash, and aquaman. the one you didn’t know is called Cyborg. He’s part man, part machine and can control technology. If your kids like Teen Titans Go he’s one of the main characters - the batsuit was heavier because he altered it so that he could fight Superman - The Death of Superman is another iconic storyline that was adapted in this movie. In the comics Superman is killed by Doomsday which is what they did here also. Doomsday is a VERY powerful character. This adaptation wasn’t horrible but better ones have been done.

2025-09-05 01:30:30 +0000 UTC2:50 Pearls scattering like a splash of blood. 9:50 "He looks angry." He's piiiiiissed. He's basically watching King Kong battle Godzilla, tearing up Metropolis with (from his perpective on the ground) NO concern for human life. I think the only way he could be angier is if this fight were taking place in Gotham City. 24:00 "Lex Luthor's son." Nope, Lex himself -- WORST casting ever; he would have made a good Joker, tjhough. Lex's dad Lionel Luthor named the company after himself. 56:00 The whole apocalyptic vision where Superman has taken control was a dream. That last bit...was not. Can't say more without spoilers for a different movie. 1:05:00 Who would win in a fight, Batman or Superman? In a fight to the death, Superman; he can kill from a greater distance than Batman. But Batman in the comics is a strategic genius and obsessive planner with essentially infinite financial resources. He has made contingency plans to take down Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern and other members of the Justice League should any of them go rogue or be mind controlled. (In one story arc, those plans were stolen, which is when the League found out they existed. They were less than happy with him.) 1:12:30 The Senator told Lex earlier "You can piss in a jar and call it Granny's Peach Tea. I'm not going to drink it." She's slowly realizing Lex was throwing those words back in her face just before taking his revenge. 1:46:45 "I feel like Batman needs a few good therapy sessions." LOL. Understatement of the year, and it pretty much applies to every version of Batman. 1:47:00 "Whet is this?" Its name is Doomsday. In the comics, it KILLED Superman. The "Death of Superman" story arc was a major event that ran for months. New "Supermen" rose up to take his place. You will have a choice to make soon. Justice League is the followup to this movie but there's the theatrical realease and there's the "Snyder cut", and they're different. I recommend the Synder version. Before any of that, watch the two Wonder Woman movies and maybe the first Aquaman.

2025-09-05 00:39:07 +0000 UTCThere's Justice League 2017 and Zack Snyder's Justice League (a better movie) which was like a director's cut on the original Justice League from 2017. Justice League 2017 flopped so hard that DC scrambled their initial plans and took control from Snyder (who left the project when his daughter died). DC became a mess with incohesive stories before James Gunn took charge in 2022 and rebooted it with Superman 2025. He's now announced a sequel to it called Man Of Tommorow. Also Superman's death was inspired by the comic "Death of Superman" where Doomsday does kill Superman. This movie was very divisive among fans. Batman activelly killing people and Superman being passive and so moody was things that pissed of the casual comic-fans. The side-characters got put aside (Lois barely did anything) and Lex Luthor became a mix between Riddler and Joker. This version of Lex is almost universally hated while Nicholas Hoult's version's almost universally acclaimed. But it's a bit sad that you watched the theatrical version. I can't stand it, I just watch the Ultimate Edition which is so much better. I'm somewhere in the middle on this one because there's some aspects I really like and I tend to rewatch the Ultimate Edition quite often, but I've never vibed with Cavill's Superman and the side characters in his story. They're so flat. Also "this isn't how Superhero movies is supposed to end". Girl have you watched Avengers: Infinity War?
