Rest in Peace Rick

Well since we're on the subject of doing reactions for dead artists: I met Brent Hinds of Mastodon after a show before they got signed and during the time he was with the band, good dude. Died in a single motorcycle accident, but no reaction for Mastodon. Amber, you'd fall in love with this band after one song. I guarantee it. All of the others I'd heard at one time or another in my lifetime. The Muffins, kings of DC! Junkyard, timeless rock and rollers. So, if that's the game, can we spread the love a bit? RIP Rick, what a legend. SGT Rock -------------------- Jeannie Seely (August 1, 2025) - Country music icon, known for her work in the Grand Ole Opry and hits like "Don't Touch Me." Died at age 85 from complications of an intestinal infection. Terry Reid (August 4, 2025) - English rock singer and guitarist, nicknamed "Superlungs," known for his powerful voice and declining offers to join Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. Died at age 75. David Todd Wilkinson (August 1, 2025) - Frontman of the Los Angeles metal band Junkyard. Died at age 59. Bobby Whitlock (August 10, 2025) - Keyboardist with Derek & the Dominos, also worked with George Harrison and Delaney & Bonnie. Died at age 77. Brent Hinds (August 20, 2025) - Founding lead guitarist for Mastodon, known for albums like Emperor of Sand. Died at age 51 in a motorcycle accident in Atlanta. Billy Swann (August 26, 2025) - Bass player for the DC band The Muffins. Cause of death not specified. Rogério Meanda (August 25, 2025) - Brazilian guitarist for the band Blitz. Cause of death not disclosed. T-Hood (August 8, 2025) - Rapper known for "Ready 2 Go." Died at age 33 after a shooting in Georgia. Mark Volman (September 5, 2025) - Co-founder and singer with The Turtles, later with Frank Zappa’s Mothers of Invention and Flo & Eddie. Died at age 78 from complications of a blood disease.

SERGEANT ROCK'S HEADBANGERS BALL

One of my favorite bands, right up there with Pink Floyd. 1979 was the year I graduated high school. I was a sax player back then and always aspired to be that good, but fell way short. 2 songs to consider are Fool's Overture and Sister Moonshine.

Thank you kiddo.
