KC & The Sunshine Band- Thats The Way I Like It

Comments

Love them, but I made the mistake of watching the first episode of “Dahmer” a couple of years ago and now can’t listen to “Please Don’t Go” the same way ever again.

Every band should have a trombone player with funky dance moves wearing a tangerine-colored bell-bottomed jumpsuit! Here are some other bands with prominent horn sections that I think you would enjoy: - Cake - alternative rock band from Sacramento that had minor hits, but never really cracked the mainstream. Vocalist has a unique singing style. "Short Skirt/Long Jacket" "The Distance" - The Brian Setzer Orchestra - Lead singer from "Stray Cats" moved from rockabilly to a full 1940s-style big band. "Jump, Jive and Wail" "Rock this Town" - Cherry-Poppin' Daddies - achieved minor fame during the swing revival in the late '90s. "Dr. Bones" "Soul Cadillac" - Ozomatli - alternative rock band from L.A. "(Who DIscovered) America" - The Pietasters - ska band from Virginia "Out All Night" - The Mad Caddies - ska band from California "I'm So Alone"

"The people who originated from this decade and were alive to see it had to be the funkiest, coolest people that ever walked this planet." The MUSIC was the coolest in the '70s. I (born in 1960) very much was NOT. LOL

SERGEANT ROCK'S HEADBANGERS BALL

Chris Orlando

Good old KC, still wooing the women. Lol. This came out in the mid '70's. Disco was catching on, but this also had some funk to it!
