My ex-girlfriend turned me onto the LOTR films. I will forever be grateful to her for that and many other things. I honestly can’t say a bad word about her and won’t. That being said, this movie as great as it is, felt like it never was going to end the first time I saw it. LOL

2025-09-28 12:33:15 +0000 UTCFor Topher: It's not about runtime It's about giving the originals some recognition No one seems to remember there are two versions that tell this story and both are equal in my eyes, with the originals getting ahead a tad thanks to all the awards they won I love both versions but both need equal recognition, not just one Anyway, I regret to say I never saw the theatrical versions brand new, given I was 7-9 when they came out, too young I saw them for the first time when I got the theatrical box set for my 14th birthday I bought the EE on my own later in life and saw all the goodies I've even read the books Thanks for the curiosity in my mindset Topher I appreciate the dialogue My name is German but I'm actually American, southern I say all this because amber is my age and I want to guide her to the right things as much as I can and I want objectivity and not bias in this community A fair shake
