Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales (2017) Full Length

Comments

**** AMBER **** I am SO HAPPY that you recognized PAUL McCARTNEY playing "UNCLE JACK" Johnny is friends with Paul, and Johnny appeared in a film of Johnny doing American Sign language for Paul's song for his current wife Nancy, to be played on the screen behind Paul and his band, during Paul's concert tours. I think Keira Knightley is the other one that was doing the same thing. There is a "making of the scene with Paul McCartney" on you tube somewhere which is a behind the scenes sort of video, which is REALLY fun to watch. The crew really loved Paul doing this and he looks GREAT in all that PIRATE makeup and clothes! I think is is SPECTACULAR and FUNNY, that Jack has a ROLLING STONE for a father ( Keith Richards) and a BEATLE ( PAUL) for an uncle!!! Does that make Keith and Paul BROTHERS? LOL! Paul said he had a ball doing that little cameo! Of course we fans knew all about it, because it made news when Paul was cast in the role. We couldn't wait to see what they would have him do. I think a LOT of people didn't realize who it was, because its dark, and you can't see him that well, AND if they don't recognize his voice, and don't stick around for the closing credits with the cast mentioned.....they wouldn't know. I don't think any of your people who commented below me, knew either. You didn't say his name loud enough, I don't think they heard you. It would have been nice to see Paul from head to toe in his pirate gear, but all you see is his face. You can see it in that "making" of video. He looked fantastic! PAUL is currently playing himself in the NEW SPINAL TAP move, called "SPINAL TAP II: THE END CONTINUES" Spinal Tap are recording and Paul happens to be in the studio in another studio in the building ( I am guessing it is supposed to be Abbey Road, I haven't watched the full movie yet) and Paul walks by and hears them and goes in to say hello, and chat for a few minutes. I saw part of that in the TRAILER for the movie. Elton John is in it too. It's sad though, because the movie was directed by Rob Reiner and he is also IN the film, I think he is playing their manager. Paul has a scene with Rob, too. It's sad because Rob and his wife were MURDERED in their home and found by their daughter on Dec. 14th, 2025, they both had been stabbed. Police say that it looked like they had been dead a few days. Their eldest son allegedly killed them, he's being held on something like 7 million dollars bond. I am writing this on Dec. 18th, so I am sure you have heard about it by now. It's going to be hard for me to watch the new "Spinal Tap" movie now. I am a big fan of Rob's. He played Michael Stivic ( aka "meathead" ) in the "ALL IN THE ALL IN the FAMILY" '70s TV comedy series. He played "Archie and Edith Bunker's" son-in-law in the show. He and Archie were always butting heads. It's all so tragic......RIP Rob and Michele Reiner.

One of my favorite Johnny Depp movies is "The Ninth Gate" a spooky for Halloween.

Steph

The mayor/ govenor whatever he was is named Bruce Spence and he was also in Road Warrior as the one man helicopter pilot

Steph

She is a fine ship. She is yar.

Steph

I was wondering if you recognized the mayor that was speaking before the bank was opened in the beginning? It was Bruce Spence, the helicopter guy in Road Warrior.

Steph

A Johnny Depp movie you might consider is Once Upon a Time in Mexico. It's a Robert Rodriguez film. Its the sequel to Desperado with Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek. It also has Quentin Tarantino because he and Robert Rodriguez are buddies. And it has William Dafoe who I know you love. Great villain. Just a suggestion.

Steven Costa

What happened to The Office just because Micheal left? We all love Micheal, but what about Dwight, Creed, and Meredith?

Adm

Hello there, amber. I like the movie. What s good been going on.

Ralston Larry Shanklin

you know what's funny? Penelope Cruz who Jack marooned on that Island at the end of Stranger Tides is (in real life) married to Javier Bardem who played the villain in this movie!

Mister Lou

What is a pirate's favorite letter? You may think it is aarrr but nay, his first love will always be the C.

David

What a great movie!!!! I loved this, it did really wrap things up for the franchise very well!!! In my opinion , there will never be another Captain Jack Sparrow!! Thank you Amber!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Debi Bailey

She did.

Michael

johnny depp likely isn't returning for the next one (if there even IS a next one) due to his image being ruined by that trial with his ex-wife and the character has exhausted all charm and appeal Like Indiana Jones, Jack Sparrow isn't a theater attraction anymore, despite this movie grossing almost 900 million bucks How many other misadventures could Disney possibly come up with? If you ask me, the Davy Jones reveal should've been left alone because now the studio will have to come up with another story for HIM too, like how did he come back if his heart is stabbed; a cured, yet mortal person can't live without a heart Pirates will have to continue with a brand new storyline: new ship, new crew, everything; clean slate

Karl Kraus

After Disney fired Johnny (for false allegations) from his ex-wife Amber Heard (the redhead in Aquaman), Johnny has said he would never work with Disney again . Wouldn't get my hopes up too high.

Dale Sands

That’s Javier Bardem playing Captain Salazar here. Such an amazing actor. You might remember him as the very scary villain from No Country for Old Men. Interestingly, he’s married to Penelope Cruz, who also played Angelica in the last POTC movie.

Richard C

Captain Salazar is played by Javier Bardem, who plays a phenomenal creep. Check him out in "No Country for Old Men", they say the best show of Psychopathy in a character.

Jayme LaFontaine

the ship jack was on as a kid is called the wicked wench no one knows if this is what the origin of the ship or not but since this was a soft reboot/retcon of past events, it's possible this was a different story The compass was also retconned; tia dalma in dead man's chest said jack bartered it from her one time so based on that information, the wicked wench wasn't inherited by jack as a young kid but acquired much later in his life In fact, the wicked wench was burned as punishment (mentioned in a deleted scene in At World's End) by cutler beckett because jack freed slaves that were cargo aboard her and davy jones made the deal with jack to raise her from the ocean floor, thereby being renamed the black pearl

Karl Kraus

I watched it and it did leave me hanging. I don’t know why it didn’t make the edit

Amber Walker

So I'll be that guy.... you missed the post credit scene... nothing crazy but itl leave ya hangin lol.

Matt Thomas

I thought you'd like to know some Middle Earth actors are in this one 1. the governor of St. Martin (Frances' husband) is the mouth of Sauron (Also was in star wars episode lll, played the alien with the sharp ass teeth) 2. the british officer trying to claim the trident for the Empire is Faramir 3. one of jack's reluctant crew is ori, one of the 13 dwarves from the hobbit

Karl Kraus

I checked this channel 10x in the last hour waiting for this! Ty Amber! Excited to watch this with you. ♥️

Richard C

And you think I’m weird for wanting to curl up with Amber!

Gary

Don’t be weird bro.

Michael

Amber we all want to watch long movies with you! You must know that! Personally, i want to curl up and watch it with you! Unfortunately, you don’t get everything you want. Or I should say I don’t.

Gary

Amber, when are you getting back to El Camino/Better Call Saul? Also can you consider reacting to more Denzel? Training Day (Oscar win), Flight (nominated) and Philadelphia (Oscar win for Tom Hanks) are all must-watch.

Michael

Have you ever seen Rango? It’s another one of Johnny Depp’s classics. Dare I say it’s underrated.
