A seemingly all powerful creator who is obsessed with perfection, and is willing to wipe out an entire species that He made if they aren't perfect enough. "Metaphor." -Drax

2025-11-24 17:32:24 +0000 UTCI heard it said by the original Howard Cosell, but Billy Crystal is famous for the Impersonation of him, so maybe she heard it from him

2025-10-13 05:12:02 +0000 UTCOne of the only Marvel Movies I care to watch after Endgame. I watched Shang Chi, and the Eternals, and whatever else hoping Marvel still had it. But after Thor Love and Thunder turned out to be such a steaming pile of crap, I had enough. This one was great, but it was the finale to another part of what once was. And unfortunately, what is now is not made for those of us that enjoyed Phases 1-3. Just another thing Disney ruined in the last few years.

2025-10-07 02:28:07 +0000 UTCThat’s what I said in the Holiday Special reaction. I really hope she considers both.

2025-10-02 22:38:13 +0000 UTCJames Gunn wouldn't of allowed himself to be associated with such trash like Ant Man 3.

2025-10-02 22:15:33 +0000 UTCThe song is Florence and the machine: dog days are over, great band and fun video. You should check out a few of their songs for the channel

2025-10-02 16:07:13 +0000 UTCGroot wasn’t speaking English at the end of the film, we as the audience had finally reached a level of emotional connection with him that we understood him. Gamora had come to the level of connection with him towards the end of their time together.

2025-10-02 15:48:09 +0000 UTCWhoa whoa whoa whoa whoa!!! Slow down, buckaroo. First of all, she hasn’t finished all of the X-Men films yet. The Deadpool movies are a part of them, but there’s a certain watchorder. Second, all she needs to do is finish up X-Men and she’s good to watch Deadpool & Wolverine. Third, even after all of that she still has to check out Brave New World and Thunderbolts before getting to First Steps which won’t be on Disney Plus for another month and a half at most. And fourth, they’re just good friends as far as we should be concerned.

2025-10-02 07:56:23 +0000 UTCWhilst I do wish to have seen your reaction at the end credit scene where it comes full circle, I loved this! Drax and Mantis? I still can't decide if its love or just a brother/sister relationship where he feels protective of her tbh. I'd have liked another to see if we ever found out lol. You've got to watch the Deadpool movies though Amber :) They are SO good!!! BUT before you do? It should be Fantastic 4 2005 then Rise of the silver surfer and you can watch Deadpool and Wolverine THEN the latest Fantastic 4. These are the only movies I'd say to watch in order like this IMO. TRUST ME! It'll be worth it to watch the Fantastic 4's at least BEFORE Deadpool and Wolverine because iirc, you've already seen X-Men haven't you? I think so! Not all the latest Marvel movies are trash. And as I always say, we're all different what we do and don't like, I always say watch them and see for yourself to be able to say one or the other!

2025-10-02 07:47:44 +0000 UTCThis remains the only MCU film I haven't watched in it's entirety. I've tried it a couple of times, and it just doesn't grab me or keep my interest.

2025-10-02 06:01:17 +0000 UTC06:50 "Da." Cosmo is speaking Russian, when not speaking English with a Russian accent. In the comics, Cosmo is a male dog; he's a telepathic Soviet space dog, and Chief of Security for Knowhere. They did a gender swap for the Guardians movies, which makes perfect sense, because Cosmo (comics version) was created as a reference to Laika, a real female dog that was part of the Soviet space program. She was the first living creature to orbit the Earth (1957) 09:11 You will remember the Sovereign, a gold-skinned race that appeared in Guardians of the Galaxy 2. From an end credits scene showing a golden sarcophagus: "That, my child, is the next step in our evolution. More powerful, more beautiful, more capable of destroying the Guardians of the Galaxy. I think I shall call him... Adam." Gotta say, I find the casting weird. He looks way too babyfaced. 47:10 That was "Reasons" by Earth, Wind and Fire 49:50 Student driver. 1:01:40 No, his ego isn't threatened. He just needs to know what made Rocket' brain special so he can replicate it. 1:33:20 "It's so sick that man created a whole planet full of creatures and then was like -- yeah, they're not good enough." Kinda like flooding the entire Earth except for eight people in a boat because people weren't behaving themselves. Jesus is my bro, but His dad could be a real dick sometimes. 1:54:40 "But how did he get this powerful?" Not yet clear as far as the MCU goes. In the comics, at one point he captured the Hulk, intending to evolve him forward a million years. That experiment was interrupted, he was wounded, and in desperation he turned the experiment on himself, evolving into a godlike being. (Also, in the comics, Counter-Earth is in our own solar system, on the opposite side of the Sun from Earth, and he was mostly encountered there or on Earth.) This excerpt from a Wikipedia entry describes the High Evolutionary's powers in the comics: "The High Evolutionary has evolved his intelligence to the upper limit of human potential, and is the only human whose intelligence and knowledge has been listed as equal to certain cosmic entities. He is considered the leading geneticist in the Marvel universe, and is vastly knowledgeable in biology, chemistry, medicine, physics, engineering, human psychology, computer science, and cybernetics. Due to experimentation on his own genome, his highly enhanced brain and cybernetic exoskeleton, the High Evolutionary has demonstrated god-like powers; including the ability to evolve and devolve life-forms, superhuman strength and durability, manipulating matter at a subatomic level, energy manipulation and projection, cosmic awareness, precognition, telepathy, telekinesis, extra-dimensional travel, and size alteration. On one occasion, he managed to hold his own against Galactus for a prolonged time before being defeated." You missed two end-credit scenes. In the first, we see Rocket's new Guardians team. In the second, we see Peter and grandpa eating breakfast cereal, and then...

2025-10-01 23:55:54 +0000 UTCthe dog is speaking russian "da" is yes in russian she's in reference to the fact that the soviets put a dog into space, one of the events pertaining to the space race in the 50s and 60s

2025-10-01 23:45:31 +0000 UTCi hope she doesn't because that show is now more of a standalone more than a piece of an overarching story Mostly everything shown is yet to be known if they'll be paid off in due time so it's a waste Same with ms marvel im afraid; i had hopes THAT will be expanded upon Moon Knight is a dead end too

2025-10-01 23:41:13 +0000 UTCamber are you just now realizing vin diesel was groot? wow the golden hued people, the sovereign, were from vol 2, along with adam warlock (he was in his coccoon and teased in the mid-credits in that movie) in the comics he had the power of the soul stone and was a major enemy for the guardians the Gamora you see here is the version of her from 2014, right before she planned to betray thanos and keep the power stone away from him every 2014 version of thanos's gang (including Gamora) traveled to the present day during Endgame's events in 2023 and got snapped away by tony stark EXCEPT Gamora due to her switching sides when the battle was over, she disappeared without a trace (in a deleted scene, she didn't participate in the honorable kneeling everyone did near tony's body when he died and walked away without a care in the world now that her job there was done) somehow she joined the ravagers and this is where we catch up with her so of course she doesn't remember quill or anything that happened to her after 2014 because she never met him or the guardians yet
