Amber I remember how much you liked George Thorogood on the old channel so I think you should revisit him and the Destroyers. A few songs you should try: "Get a Haircut", "Move it on Over" and "Who do you Love".

2025-10-05 02:02:04 +0000 UTCWe have failed her as an audience if we don’t get her fully into metal. I just wait for the day I see a notification for Amber Reacts to “Stranded” or “Heaviest Matter of the Universe” by Gojira. I swear that band is a workaround for people who didn’t think they would like something that heavy!! I’m convinced Mario Duplantier drums hook new listeners like nobody else. IMO he’s top 5 in the last 20+ years. She’s more than ready to go a little harder!! {PAUSE}

2025-10-05 00:04:43 +0000 UTCI'm so glad you got to check this one out, not surprised you loved it...how could you not??? The album I have this song on is actually a double-compilation album which seems to be pretty much their 1st 4 albums. There are so many other songs with great, loping rhythms, such as 'Fairies Wear Boots', 'Lord of this World', 'Children of the Grave'...and the song 'Warning' is an incredible, but long song, with the middle third of it being a wandering Tony Iommi solo. The inspiration for the song, according to Geezer Butler (bassist) WAS Gandalf! When you sit back and imagine listening to this stuff right around 1970--at full volume--it's mind blowing, considering what was out there for music at the time. And someone mentioned the song 'Black Sabbath' from their debut album....turn the lights down real low for that one...like walking into an Ozzy nightmare--pretty much what it is!

2025-10-04 22:37:06 +0000 UTCThis album is a must for every new headbanger's starter kit. Good choice. This truly shows Sabbath's musical reach, from hammering power chords to straight blues riffs. Ah, we miss ya Oz, but as the old adage goes. Life is not finite. Live it the best we can and look forward to the afterlife. I look foward to being at the best live show at Silver Lake Fest in Heaven! What as how that's going to be! Two other bands I'd suggest with similar styles to this are Clutch's 'Electric Worry', since you love that harmonica, Amber, and their road dogs, The Native Howl with a time-honored classic, 'God's Gonna Cut You Down'. Both bands when asked during interviews proudly say that Sabbath is a major influence.

2025-10-04 22:19:39 +0000 UTCThis whole album is just fantastic start to finish. If you’re listening to this you must’ve already listened to the first song titled “Black Sabbath”; otherwise you really should check it out. It’s the first song from their first album (which this is also from) and it’s brilliant. It’s the perfect introduction to Black Sabbath and perfect for October too.
