Terrifier (2016) Full Length

Comments

This was the film I was waiting for, No.4 is on the way in 2026

Mark Pickersgill

How dark… I love it!

Amber Walker

:38 The blonde girl couldn’t hang around anymore… … she had to split.

Tony F.

Ok, you handled this one, good? But what about "I saw the devil/ I met the devil?"

Carlos Markiet

They pulled the old reverse psychology on you with this one! "Amber, you're not going to be able to handle this movie" Amber: "Oh yeah? Watch me!" 😆 Great reaction! You surely looked terrified... and grossed out.

Matthew Stewart

Yeeeeeeaaaaaaahhhh I'm personally perfectly ok with you not reacting to the sequels lol. It's got its moments but this is also unnecessarily gross and sadistic lol.

The Mad Icelander

Amber did it though. She soldiered through it. Some soft gore she can probably do is "the Fly (80's version)". A lot less stressful. :)

Wxyz@73

We have the benefit of pausing and walking away for a moment; poor Amber had to sit there watching this.. I just kept averting my eyes and staring at Bobby Hill and the dragon..

Chris Orlando

Saw Franchise should now be put back on the table... If she survived this insane shit Saw is nothing

Jeff Anderson

Where’s TF5

Ethan Lemaire

I’ve been requesting the movie Saw 1 for quite a while now, and have been repeatedly shot down. Being the movie Amber refuses to ever watch. Yet, here she is watching this grotesque movie 😆 Saw is nowhere near as gory as this. It’s not even as gory as Dexter. I would never recommend something that was outside your comfort zone. ♥️

Richard C

Hahaha 🤣 the best reaction Amber ever, loved it

Stephen

I grew up on horror movies, and I wasn't really interested in a clown killing movie. This was my first time looking at it because I wanted to see Amber's reaction to it, and her reaction was about the same as mine. This movie is sick. Especially the body cutting part. I kept thinking, what is on the mind of a person who makes a person this evil. What was different was Art went right into torturing the person instead of waiting, like in most horror movies.

Carl C

And he’s not scary lol just needs to destroyed

Brandon Wheeler

Agreed! I couldn’t watch myself. But it’s really out there. That worse scene was actually An ancient torture technique bc the the blood would rush to the head and keep them alive longer. I don’t want to know that but the truth is it. 🤣need to stop watching documentaries

Brandon Wheeler

Young Frankenstein, I think, will be a welcome comedic relief given Amber's last 2 experiences!

Marc Lamoureux

The ending was wack though….

Brandon Wheeler

I did say this isn't for you lol. Bless you! I couldn't watch it again either, ngl. These kinds of horror movies just aren't for me but props to you for watching it, Amber!

SilverDoe🎔

Describing this as “campy” is like describing “Fatal Attraction” as a rom-com.

Sweetish_Jeff_25

I couldn’t help but think of that song by Gary Lewis and the Playboys. “Everybody loves a clown so why don’t you?” Because he is a creep who cuts people into two. 😉

Sweetish_Jeff_25

Bring her back next

chefboyarkey

Never apologize for giving us your genuine reaction, Amber. Don't try to hold anything back. Now, you know you're going be told by many, including me, that you can't handle Terrifier 2 & 3. I'm telling you now, you can't handle it. But it would fun and funny to see you try. Let's see if you have to prove me wrong....lol

Brandon Wheeler

Thank you!!!!! About time Some one a voice of reason. Why did I feel so alone thinking this was actual garbage.

Brandon Wheeler

I know what you're looking for. Try The Fog (1980) with Jamie Lee Curtis, Sleepy Hollow (1999) with Johnny Depp, and The Mist (2007) with Thomas Jane. All 3 pretty good without to much gore. You won't get sick but you might get a little fright.

Joe Hillje

You’re forgetting there was the Sex and violence in the Giallo genre which pushed the boundaries and gave birth to the Modern Slasher as they were the Proto Slashers of the era and Italian Horror genre which pushed gore and extreme violence to the tipping point we got the Video Nasties coming out in the later 70s and throughout 80s, there’s always been Sex and violence in Horror, it’s just evolved with the censorship laws.

Grim Morgul (Mike)

It’s interesting to me how horror movies evolved over the last 40 years. If you go back to the 1980s, we had the “Friday the 13th” and “Nightmare On Elm Street” movies which became the template for contemporary slasher films for that era. The killer was a disfigured or masked monster who primarily murdered teenagers. And the first couple of movies were good, but soon thereafter became ridiculous. Yet that didn’t stop them from making sequels. By the early 1990s, the horror/scary movie genre got stale and we started to see more psychological thrillers and suspense films. “Single White Female”, “The Hand That Rocks The Cradle”, “Basic Instinct”, “Blink”, “Jennifer 8”, etc. This went on until about 1996 when “Scream” came out and that movie brought back the horror films to the mainstream. I like a lot of horror movies going way back to the classic Universal horror movies from the 1930s. My problem with a lot of horror films including this one is that it’s gratuitous. I don’t like gratuitous sex or violence. I believe both have their place in art when they are used in context with the story. When it’s done for shock value or to trigger an emotional reaction I believe it cheapens the content. “Child’s Play” is almost forty years old, but it’s still scary and terrifying (no pun intended). And it has graphic violence in it, but it never feels like it’s there to be deliberately gross or used for shock value. It’s to show us how evil the Chucky character is and by extension, Charles Lee Ray. We have to see evil to understand it and that’s not just fiction, but in non-fiction, too. History is filled with these examples. To erase evil from our history books or cinema is just as bad as glorifying it.

Sweetish_Jeff_25

Per the question "fornthe ones that like it, how can you?" Ok for me it's a few things. So for me it's a contradiction, in real life blood & gore stuff like is too much for me, hut in the movies, I love movie making & movie magic, so I have a appreciation for the movie magic in makeup & editing & acting when that stuff looks so real that its disturbing. I don't know if its been said in the comments already but the writer/producer/director of this is also a gore makeup artist, and did all the effects of these, and he wanted to make a movie that didnt play by the usual rules & do it practically (today alot of the stuff like that is made with green screens & CGI), vs old school movies use to make these effects & worm hard to make them look real, and CGI just cheapens it. So this was something showing practical effects are better. The story, I love the simplicity it feels like a nightmare, and thsts what I like to feel in my horror movies, like a Rollercoaster ride (which is ironic cause I dont do roller coasters lol). Its complicated 😅

J.Fro90

Why did yall do this to this sweet lady lol. Granted Im a huge fan of the franchise, but i would not recommend this to people not into gore horror. Amber im gon be praying for you with this whole watch, and the audio been great! You go girl!

J.Fro90

I mean shoot, this guy made penny wise seem halfway sane

Amber Walker

Plus Art the Clown isn’t fully Human, There’s 2 movies before this that set up his supernatural back story.

Grim Morgul (Mike)

There were so many things one could've done to defeat this Terrifier dude. 😂 Weapons all over. But then again, it wouldn't have been a horror film if it ended early.

Wxyz@73

Oof, that was rough watching you squirm all the way through that one. Maybe you need to go watch Viva Las Vegas again. That seemed to make you happy. I do have a question though. You said: "This isn't like any normal killer clown." What exactly do you think a "normal" killer clown is?

Duke Pootentooter

OK, Amber, I'm with you! That was pretty f'd up!! Someone described this as "campy"?? Sorry...didn't see campy anywhere. Rocky Horror was campy. THIS??? I know there's a fan base for stuff like this, but I just don't get it. Stuff like this I just don't find entertaining or even scary. It was fun watching your reaction, though...up to the point where you were pretty much DONEZO with it and waiting for it to be over...LOL. I had never seen the movie myself, not sure I'd even heard of it, but then finding out what it was, I, too was surprised you watched it. But, then again, you said you'd never watch a Chucky movie, and there you were. I'm glad you survived...hope you don't get too sick or wind up with any night terrors!

Marc Lamoureux

Never got this movie, it’s a shallow, unconvincing and mostly just boring and obvious slasher with bad writing and slightly above average art direction considering the budget. The second one is much better because they actually have a story and characters that develop and do stuff but it still delivers on the nastiness. 3 is okay but it’s diminishing returns from the second, it’s got fun scares but the structure is so messy and the writing is rough and it runs like 40 minutes too long for the story it wants to tell.

I like Bobby Fish… but he’s got this fish gimmick

Art's offset tiny top hat kills me.

Nathan

After watching you see this I’m both sorry to put you through it and glad to now definitely know your boundaries. Maybe “Art the Clown” could be your safe word?? FRT… You’re a trooper! We know you could have just shut the s**t down and did something else. ✌️🫶

⚫️

Love love love this movie and Art the clown … all three movies are a gore fest and definitely an all time favorite of mine and my wife’s …

John Christopher xcronex

This is the first time I’ve heard you use anything close to profanity 🤣 So here’s my long rant: as I’m sure you’ve seen in the comments this franchise is pretty polarizing. There are people who think this movie is the worst movie to ever come out, and on the flipside there are people who absolutely love what these films are. There are rarely people who fall in between. My personal opinion. If you want plot, story, great dialogue, etc. this isn’t the one for that lol. But even though I love those things in a movie and this movie lacks them I still love the franchise. This movie was made on a $35k budget. That is VERY low. It grossed over $400k. What they were able to do as an independent production on such a small budget is absolutely amazing. They took a very simple idea and a great character (more on that in a second), and they created a franchise that is now making close to hundreds of millions of dollars. The practical effects are incredible. The gore is actually terrifyingly visceral. It’s just impressive. Gross. Deranged. Campy. But impressive. Now for my (and many others) favorite thing about this franchise. They created an instant horror villain icon. Art the Clown is THE new icon. Killer clowns are nothing new in horror but there isn’t another one like him. And the actor who plays him only gets better throughout the sequels. Now, regarding the sequels. They’re worth a watch tbh 🤷🏾 The gore doesn’t go away. But they actually start to develop into more polished films with more budget behind them. Better acting, better writing (not by much tbf but better lol), better directing. And they still retain the things that make these films unique in the process. So… if you don’t absolutely hate this (I haven’t finished the reaction yet), I would say you should consider reacting to 2 & 3 😈

MadeByMali

Please check out Repo the Genetic Opera! 😁 Especially after Sweeney Todd. And to be clear, it’s not because it’s horrifically gory or brutal like this film lol I just think you’ll like it.

Sean Zaccheo

Did you recommend this one, you bad girl?? 🤣

⚫️

I have a cheesy, campy movie I love from the 70's called Student Bodies. It was the first comedy I'd seen based off of horror clichés. It's funny af to me but I'm not right in the head.

Rowan Figueroa

“Terrifier” makes “Child’s Play” look like…well, child’s play.

Sweetish_Jeff_25

Full disclosure: I’m a true crime fan. I love the ID channel. I’ve seen a lot of graphic stuff and it’s disturbing, but I handled it. This movie actually made me physically ill. Now, I didn’t puke, but came close. The actors and actresses in it are very good especially David Thornton and Jenna Kanell who are rising stars. However, I dislike horror movies that rely on what I believe to be gratuitous violence. It’s like grating sex. When you’re doing it for shock value, I think it cheapens the product. In “Jaws” we don’t see the shark for nearly an hour. Yet we see these people being dragged underwater and the blood rising up and can only imagine what’s happening underneath.

Sweetish_Jeff_25

Amber, I haven't finished this yet but I HAD to say a couple things before I forget. First, I personally find this movie hilarious based solely on who I think the killer looks like. First though, I'm a sick puppy so I have to say this.... that was truly splitting right down the seam! Movie first for me. I even crossed my legs. Ok, now the looks. I'm going to give you the names of who I think made this creepy love child. Dee Snider of Twisted Sister and Carol Channing. There's a short on YT, you can find it by searching this: "raspberries carol channing". This dude has her smile and the manic, frenetic energy she had. I can even imagine him sounding like her. Maybe that will help you? Just think of their love child. It makes me crack up every time. If anyone else agrees with me let me know.

Rowan Figueroa

That went as well as I thought it would.

Watched this last Halloween. Definitely for people who are into gore/slasher/clown horror films. Not for everybody. I made it through the whole movie as well. Haha. But glad you made it through the whole movie Amber. The movie, "Killer Clowns from Outer Space" still creeps me out before this one.

Wxyz@73

I think you misunderstand the meaning of horror movie. I knew that when Chucky was freaking you out. Most modern horror movies are blood and guts. Psychological or supernatural thrillers are what you like.

Susan Holly

Complete...wastes of time....this series has the usefulness of a spork through the eyeballs, just for the fuck of it.

SERGEANT ROCK'S HEADBANGERS BALL

Never watched a reaction so quick in my life!! Great reaction!! You have to watch 2&3 now! 3 is even a Christmas film .....Art Style! 2 is great and introduces his nemesis or final girl if you prefer that term. The creator of the Terrifier films Damien Leone is a special effects artist and grew up on classic 80's slasher films like Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street and Hellraiser. The Terrifier films are purposely uncensored gore almost like a middle finger to the MPAA ratings system. The 2nd and 3rd films are some of the most successful unrated films of all time, both had some people throwing up in the theater. Art the clown has become a Horror icon! You can buy life size animatronics of him at Spirit Halloween as well as costumes of course. There are also action figures as well. He's also in video games like Fortnite as Well as Call of Duty Modern Warfare III as well as having his own NES style side scrolling game. As someone who dabbles in makeup FX I love gore cause it's like a magic trick in a way....I also grew up on slasher films since my parents took me with them to see the original Friday the 13th at the age of 5, and yes I turned out fine mentally just a bit desensitized to violence and gore.

Aaron Brigman

Movie is a waste of fuggin time, man. If movies were the taste of a shit sandwich, this dumpster fire is Webster's definition!

SERGEANT ROCK'S HEADBANGERS BALL

Calling this movie good is like handing a complete stranger an iron pipe, getting on one's knees voluntarily, turn over one's shoulder and say, "Get to swingin' Babe Ruth" just for the fuck of it and calling it the time of one's life! This movie is, was, and forever will be fuckin stupid. Flat out fuckin stupid. Amber, might I suggest A Night with the Devil a watch to wash this bo'shit off your brain. Fuck this stupid movie. Damn shame you can't get this time back. Uffda!

SERGEANT ROCK'S HEADBANGERS BALL

Well…I think we broke Amber😅 What a phenomenal reaction, You did surprisingly well getting through the movie and don’t worry, We’ll all protect you and your Ta-Ta’s..Lmao 😂 I still think dressing as a killer clown should be on your list of Halloween costumes. As extreme as Terrifier is, it’s still an entertaining campy slasher, That’s why we love it, It’s just fun goofy gore. Hope you’ve fully recovered.

Grim Morgul (Mike)

Oh god, I cant imagine this is going to go well. I dont want it to ruin you for life. Haha

Wes Morrison

I’m sorry I hope you react to Young Frankenstein before Halloween. I don’t think I can wait another year.

Thomas Horton

Oh lord I warned her. This movie is diabolical..

Jeff Anderson

The Long Walk is now on digital if you’re interested.

Aldo Gonzales

oh my god... i am sorry. i never would have suggested this in a million years. i dont find movies like this entertaining even the slightest. and i mean that in all senses of the term "entertained"

Matt Thomas

Gotta say, I’m really surprised this made the cut. 😆 Clown slasher movie. Hope you made it. 👍🏼

Richard C

OMG! This is gonna be insane!

Chris Orlando

Haha yes!..Cannot wait to see your reaction to this, all 3 are fun, if you want another Overly campy but gory slasher movie series try, Hatchet(2006) and the three sequels.

Grim Morgul (Mike)

Nope. lol it was worth jumping to just see the reaction but couldn’t watch it my self. lol

Brandon Wheeler

Omg i didn't expect this movie 🔥

R

I’m so sorry 😂😂😂
