This is why I absolutely love ya, kid! None of what made the intimate moment between two severely traumatized people was lost on you at all. That gentle kiss on the forehead… It really got to me!! Up until that point, I don’t think I was completely connected with Dexter as a character because of his clinical coldness in many situations. I liked him as a tool for vengeance but that was about it.

I agree that Lumen and Dex fit so well together because they can be themselves!! Their traumas allowed that! Deb is so freaking smart it does make me nervous! This season IMHO is just as good as last season, it's been great!

I first heard about this show from a friend, so I hunted down a few of the books it is based on. (By the way, I'm taking FULL props for being able to do that in small town Iowa at the time!) I started to watch it based solely on Julie Benz being in it (I'm a big Buffy/Angel fan). This show is such a brilliant time waster for me. I can easily binge watch it again even though I already know what is going to happen. I'm so glad that you are enjoying it as well. I have no idea how you found out about it and decided to give it a try, but I'm so glad you did. We have never met and in all likelihood we never will. But I love sharing this time with you.

OK, Barbrady 😂 Sorry...that word just always makes me think of Barbrady! I think Liddy's plans will come to naught-somehow--given that there are 3 more seasons to go. That's the benefit of watching the show after it's already finished. It will for sure be interesting to see how this all ends, between Chase, Liddy, our 'wicked smaht' girl Deb and the whole Liddy/Quinn connection...amongst others. Like...will Maria be 'gettin some' at any point in the last two episodes, or will Angel conveniently "have a headache" the whole time?? It's nice when you can kinda like Maria (unlike right now), cause she, too, is rather dreamy, just to a large extent grimy on the inside...a little too grimy. NOW, Deb is dreamy, too...but pretty solid on the inside, good people, as they say--despite her potty mouth! and, again...Dex gettin' down with Lumen!!! Didn't see that coming!
