Transformers- The Last Knight (2017) Full Length

Comments

There are reportedly 5 new Transformers movies in the works, with GIJoe vs Transformers as the next one coming out, anticipated in 2026. Michael Bay back as Director (thank God), Shia LeBeauf possibly returning and Chris Hemsworth to play a main human character (possibly Duke)

I couldn't recall Nemesis Prime either, and I've seen all the movies several times and grew up on the Generation 1 cartoon in the 80's. However, a quick Google AI search shows a long history with the character. Nemesis Prime is a recurring character in the Transformers franchise, a dark, evil counterpart to Optimus Prime whose origin story changes across different continuities. He first appeared in the 2001 series Robots in Disguise under the name Scourge, but the name "Nemesis Prime" was established in Armada and used in subsequent iterations. ~ Robots in Disguise (2001): Originally named Scourge in the US release (Black Convoy in Japan), this version was a Decepticon created when a Protoform (an unformatted Transformer) scanned both a tanker truck and Optimus Prime's form simultaneously. He was an independent character with no direct relation to Optimus other than appearance. ~ Armada (2002-2003): This character, though given the Japanese name Grand Scourge, was referred to as Nemesis Prime in American toy lines and some media. In this continuity, Nemesis Prime was a monstrous, form-changing being controlled by the villain Sideways, created to mimic Optimus Prime's powerful form after scanning the minds of the Autobots and Decepticons. ~ Generation 1 (Toy Lines & Comics): Various toy bios, particularly for the Alternators and Universe lines, provided different origins within the G1 continuity family. One common origin posits him as a clone of Optimus Prime created by the human villain Doctor Arkeville in an attempt to create a supreme military commander. Another origin describes him as a "lowly warrior" tortured and rebuilt by the Decepticon Straxus into Optimus Prime's image, resulting in an unstable, murderous entity. ~ Transformers: Prime (2010-2013): In this animated series, Nemesis Prime was a mindless, human-built drone constructed by the anti-Autobot organization MECH. It was built as a perfect replica of Optimus Prime to frame the Autobots for attacks on human military bases, and was remotely controlled by the human leader Silas. ~ IDW Publishing Comics (2005-2018 continuity): A significant story arc revealed that Nemesis Prime was originally Nova Prime, a power-hungry, pre-war Autobot leader (and a predecessor to Optimus Prime) who became corrupted by a dark entity called the Darkness after being trapped in the Dead Universe. He then sought to merge the Dead Universe with his own. ~ War for Cybertron Trilogy (2020-2021): The Netflix animated series depicted Nemesis Prime as a future version of Optimus Prime who was killed by Megatron and subsequently resurrected and enslaved by Unicron as a herald. ~ The Last Knight (2017 Live-Action Film): In the movie continuity, Optimus Prime himself was temporarily brainwashed by the Quintesson sorceress Quintessa, who renamed him "Nemesis Prime" until he was freed by Bumblebee. Across most iterations, Nemesis Prime serves as the dark mirror of Optimus Prime, possessing similar power and abilities but completely lacking in moral restraint, compassion, or a true sense of identity, making him an unpredictable and merciless killer.

Can you reupload the reaction perfectly synced up? On your reaction to simmons you see it clearly that its out of sync.

As far as I know, Nemesis Prime was just in this movie, though Unicron was in the animated series movie The Transformers: The Movie 1986. I'm looking forward to the next movie, Bumblebee. It's a lot of fun and I love Hailee Steinfeld.

Steven Costa

Transformers 8, The Rise of Unicorn, is coming. It says 2027 or 28

Charles Lookabaugh

I think the timing is off on the video or it just me ?

Vic Valencia

Thoroughly enjoyed this installment of Transformers also and there are 3 more movies, it's the bumblebee movie and Transformers: Rise of the beast and the animated transformers one. The bumblebee movie you will see the connection to the first 3 movies and the next is a different universe, and the third is animated and it's really good, I think you would enjoy them.

Anthony Hopkins - You saw him in The Silence of the Lambs, Legends of the Fall, and Thor

Live Wire

Ok for Spooktober you have to watch Silence of the Lambs. And for more sub battles Hunt for the Red October and Crimson Tide. All these movies have an awesome cast.

Mike Jenson

transfromers one is a great movie as it tells the story of how megatron and prime were brothers.

Huxley

Maybe mention he was Tristin's dad, from Legend of the Fall as well.

Steven Costa

Did you recognize Thor's dad, Odin? That's Anthony Hopkins.

I wound up watching the YouTube clip cause I was short on time and wanted to watch it. I agree with you, I've liked them all so far. So, in this one we get Marky Mark & the NEW Funky Bunch 🤣, a bit more Simmons, Odin/Hannibal, Hawkgirl, and I guess Star Lord's mom? Not too shabby! Gotta say, I kept half expecting Ted to turn up with a bong to share with Wahlberg 🤣, having watched THAT movie again recently. I discovered I (maybe just me?) can only get the "Hype" button to appear on the YouTube app on my phone. AND, it only allows me to HYPE 3 times a week! WTF is that garbage?? Fun reaction as always...look forward to the next one!

Please watch King Kong (2005) Halloween is Peter Jackson's birthday so it's a perfect movie

Karl Kraus

Watch King Kong (2005) It's a monster movie first and foremost as well as one with Halloween traits Plus Halloween is Peter Jackson's birthday

Karl Kraus

The movie is alittle out of sync

Huxley

After this the the transformers movies got a reboot, so it starts with the bumblebee movie.

Huxley

Just in case you didn’t read my last comment during Terrifier, please watch Young Frankenstein before Halloween for comedy sake

Thomas Horton

It’s not a Halloween movie, but there’s a Mel Gibson and Jamie Lee Curtis movie. I think you’d like called forever Young.
