K Pop Demon Hunters (2025) Full Length

Comments

It looks like she’s putting a lot of effort into having a wide variety for all to have something to enjoy. But…I understand what you’re saying.🫡✌️

⚫️

So, despite not being an animated movie/tv show fan, this wasn't bad, I actually kind of enjoyed it. It kind of reminded me--though I know their entirely not the same--of Pitch Perfect, maybe just because of the whole song battle thing. Interesting note: the girl who voiced Rumi was (thank you IMDb) Arden Cho, born in Texas to Korean immigrants, though she went to high school in MN--apparently getting bullied a fair amount growing up in Texas. I now want to sit down and watch Pitch Perfect (admittedly an Anna Kendrick fan) with a big plate of tteokbokki, one of my favorite Korean dishes! And to those that feel the need to just jump on and spill vitriol just because they don't like something you're doing: why?? If you don't like it, as the saying goes: "don't let the door hit ya where the Lord split ya!" There is no need for that kind of foolishness, as many others below have mentioned!

I'll be honest. Some reaction posts I skip. That doesn't mean I'm not going to watch other stuff Amber puts on here. It's all about choice. It is ok to skip one here or there. :) Maybe in a few years I'll revisit KPDH. Until then everyone enjoy this reaction. Keep up the good work Amber.

Wxyz@73

mmmk..not sure what path we're going down here, lol. Entire Transformers series is rough and now this. I'll be nice :)

The Mad Icelander

Wasn't really an anime fan. But I have to admit, this was pretty Damn good. 🤪

Dale Sands

I really enjoyed this movie, for the reasons you state in your reaction! It's fun, colorful, has catchy music, but it also has an ernest emotional core.

The voice actors and the singing actors are different. Ejae is Rumi’s musical voice. She aged out of the K-Pop machine, but she wrote music for the popular K-pop acts. The highest note she hits is an A5 on Golden.

Man, finding that movie online is so sketchy! That movie was a trendsetter, there are so many others too. I really think she'd also dig not only FotNS, but MD Geist, Starblazers (Series), G-Force (Series), and the immortal Ninja Scroll! Hey Ryan, hit me up on X @NorskeMetalhead. If you have a request for my content, drop it through the DMs and I'll get your request on the show!

SERGEANT ROCK'S HEADBANGERS BALL

Not sure who chose it but I think its a great choice. As for you.. you don’t need to watch everything Amber posts or be negative towards her choices on HER channel.

Ha'ane Rose 🦋

Go be negative elsewhere.

Who is choosing this 💩

Dennis Fawcett

I loved your shoulder shimmy, and how emotionally invested you got in both the story and the songs. For one of your next musical films, I highly recommend "Weird: The Al Yankovic Story" (2022). It is by far the most realistic depiction of a musical career ever filmed. It feels more like a documentary than a biopic. You'll have a blast recognizing the huge number of cameos of musical stars from the '80s, everyone from Prince to Devo to Cyndi Lauper.

You missed the end credit scene showing the kpop girl group Twice recording the takedown song

Great reaction, it’s good to see you really enjoy this, the dancing and getting so into it, I loved this movie, It’s great for the kids, colourful, action , songs and comedy but for us adults it’s deeper, the themes they covered such as Acceptance, isolation, friendship, rejection, loss, mental health and awareness, finding ones self, it really did cover a whole lot wrapped into a short time space, As a 42 year old metalhead this movie actually had me so invested and close to tears at times and those songs are so good. I went down a rabbit hole of viewing a lot of covers on YT lol plus I had Take Down and Golden in my head for weeks, they’re making a sequel as well so that’s something to look forward to.

Yeah, not my dig. I'm old school Japanime when it comes to horror/suspense cartoons. I can't get into this, Amber. Sorry. But hey, at least I'm here for the support, yeah? I'll check my email tomorrow/Monday for a notification if you react to some other show. But I get it, like my channel on Rumble, SGT Rocks Headbangers Ball, not all tracks on the show are someone's dig, but someone does dig the track. Same here. This was a wompwompwomp for me. Not your reaction, but the content. Take care, and I hope you and yours are doing awesome! Say hi to Pam from us. - EB of The Veterans of Hill 30 | PS-if you do a Halloween reaction, will we see you in costume/cosplay? - EB

Each of the Huntrix girls and the Saja Boys had a voice actor and a separate singing voice. While Rumi, Mira, and Zoey were voiced by Arden Cho, May Hong, and Ji-Young Yoo, their respective singers were Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. Those singers recently performed Golden live for the first time at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. They’ll be doing their first full concert at this year’s Jingle Ball. Ejae has actually been in the music industry for a while. Long story short, she started out as a k-pop trainee but it didn’t work out. You can look up the full story for yourself later, but fast forward to the present she wrote a bunch of songs for other groups and had a hand in writing the songs for this movie. Just yesterday she released a new breakup single called In Another World. I don’t know much about Rei Ami, but I actually knew of Audrey Nuna for a while. My introduction to her was in the Shang-Chi soundtrack. She collaborated with Nicole Zefanya in a song called Clocked Out. 12:10 by the way, you see the name below Huntrix? That’s the name of a real-life nine-member girl group called Twice. Three of their members Jihyo, Jeongyeon (my personal favorite of the group), and Chaeyoung performed the end credits version of Takedown. They also performed it at Lollapalooza. Throughout the movie there were little nods to Twice: their song Strategy playing in the background (they also featured Megan Thee Stallion in another version of the song), their #2 spot on the charts just behind Huntrix, and a poster of all nine of them right before Huntrix was about to perform at the Idol Awards. Jinu was voiced by Ahn Hyo-Seop. For the most part he didn’t sing for his character, but he did get to sing when we first met him playing his bipa. You can find this song in the deluxe edition. It’s called Jinu’s lament. The funny thing about Jinu’s first encounter with Rumi is that the song playing in the background is the opening theme for a K-drama that his voice actor Hyo-Seop starred in. It’s called Business Proposal, and you can actually find it on Netflix. And if you ever watched Squid Game, the voice for Gwi-Ma the demon king may sound familiar… 4:01 Sony Animation wasn’t always the best studio, but they gradually improved in almost a decade ever since they worked on Into The Spider-Verse which I’m not sure if you’ve seen yet. That movie set the bar high for animation as a whole. They’re obviously working on a sequel for this movie, but there’s also a prequel short film releasing soon. They’re calling it Debut, and it’ll likely dive into the girls’ origins before they were brought together as both the global phenomenon and the elite fighting trio we know today. If you haven’t checked out the Spider-Verse movies yet, they would make for great reactions. I know Across The Spider-Verse is currently streaming on Disney Plus. The third entry will be out in late June 2027. In the meantime, Sony Animation’s next full length film GOAT is slated for February. It was produced by Golden State Warrior Steph Curry who also has a role. The lead character in this upcoming movie is voiced by none other than Caleb McLaughlin, and his fellow Stranger Things co-star David Harbour got to lend his voice as well.

Noooo! Just when I got the songs out of my head!.. Why you doing this Amber! Just plain mean lmao, Guess I’ll watch it and prepare for another month of ear worms burying themselves into my skull.

You gotta be kidding me
