Elvis was just one of the most gorgeous and talented men ever!!!! This film was from 1957!! I had to see who the beautiful co-star was, Judy Tyler, who sadly lost her life 3 days after shooting of Jailhouse Rock wrapped. Her newlywed 2nd husband and her were driving back to New York from Los Angeles. She was only 24 years old. She never got to see the completed film. Her husband was also killed in the crash in Wyoming. Very sad and I'm positive it would have been heartbreaking for Elvis, he was very compassionate and sensitive. Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman) said in Pulp Fiction said "you are either an Elvis fan or a Beatles fan" . I like to think I'm both, though I have 8 Beatles albums and just 1 Elvis greatest hits. This was Elvis's third movie, King Creole was his 4th. He was drafted in December 1957 and inducted in March 1958 and then spent 2 years in the army, before returning to acting.
