2025-11-04 04:36:54 +0000 UTCWhen the Americans and British made it to Germany, the faced the toughest odds. The German Tiger tank was huge compared to the allies. It was to big and heavy, and couldn't fit through the tunnels in the Alps to make it far from Germany, but once the allies were in the final push to Berlin, they faced the deadly Tiger tanks. The American Sherman was badly outmatched. Tigers had a 20-1 kill ratio against the Shermans. We only won by having 50 Shermans to every Tiger. It took very dedicated and brave men to get in those tanks and face such odds. Tank crew had a commander, Brad Pitt, A driver, Gordo and the nose gunner Norman. The main gunner, Bible and the engineer Grady that was the loader during the fight. The large machine guns had tracer rounds. Every 5 bullets was a tracer that lit up as it was shot so the gunner could see where they were shooting. In the early town scene, when they said to let them burn. those were the tracer rounds of the German ammunition when they destroyed the gun emplacement.

2025-11-03 04:59:36 +0000 UTCVery powerful movie. 👏 So emotional. Loved it. If you’re still wanting to explore more Brad Pitt at some point check out “Snatch” directed by Guy Ritchie. His character is very different from what you’d expect and the movie won’t disappoint at all. The soundtrack is great too. The Specials , Madonna, Massive Attack amongst others.
