Everything these two do together is absolute musical brilliance. When you delve deep into Slash's Snake Pit's catalogue, you're going to find some jams that are truly headbangers and ass shakers! Slash has spoken highly of his collaboration with Myles Kennedy in multiple interviews, particularly regarding their chemistry and Kennedy's vocal prowess. Here are some notable quotes from Slash about working with him: In a 2018 Loudwire interview promoting Living the Dream, Slash recounted how he discovered Kennedy: "I had been hearing a lot about Myles for years but I never met him, and I wasn't even really familiar with his voice but he had just recently been flown over to England to do this possible [Led] Zeppelin [reunion] tour thing. I said, 'Well maybe that guy because he's got to be good. If Jimmy [Page] called him, he's got to be really good.' So, I cold called him..." This led to Kennedy joining Slash's solo project after the Zeppelin opportunity fell through. Slash has described their partnership as effortless, telling The Pulse of Radio (referenced in a 2021 Blabbermouth article): "We work really well together... It's real natural. So, it's like any kind of sort of close relationship, where I think we established it really, really early on and now we're just sort of doing our thing." On Kennedy's ability to handle Guns N' Roses material live, Slash told MusicRadar (via Wikipedia summary): "Myles is fucking amazing." He elaborated that Kennedy's style is "surreal" and praised his four-octave range. Their collaboration began with Kennedy guesting on two tracks from Slash's 2010 self-titled solo album, evolving into the full band Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators for albums like Apocalyptic Love (2012), World on Fire (2014), and Living the Dream (2018). As of early 2025, they're reportedly halfway through a new album, though a release isn't expected until 2026 due to scheduling conflicts with Kennedy's solo work and Alter Bridge commitments. And Amber, we've not seen you react to Alter Bridge or Mark Tremonti's solo stuff. Let's just say, it's inside your wheelhouse! SGT Rock

2025-11-15 20:08:16 +0000 UTCThey do a great acoustic version of Sweet Child O Mine. Also check out Myles Kennedy's acoustic version of Iron Maiden's The Trooper. It's awesome.

2025-11-15 19:59:22 +0000 UTCI like this idea!! Didn’t like the song but… It’d be different in a great way if she’d wanted to introduce us to the things she likes occasionally in the real world!! A couple of Spotify playlists curated by Amber would be rad too. If she ever wants to do a rewatch of “The Notebook” I’d be psyched!!!
