It is always wild going back and seeing movies that Hank from Breaking Bad was in, before he put on all the weight. He was the cop that called Gibson Houdini Jr and got blown up trying to turn on the music at the poker game. But he basically worked with all the action stars in the late 80s and early 90s.

This was a fun watch with you Amber, The Lethal Weapon series is one of my favorite buddy cop series. One movie I'd suggest for you is called my Cousin Vinny 1992 staring Joe Pesci

That blonde guy Hans was in Shawshank Redemption

Elizabeth Franco

There’s two more after this.

So much has changed in the world in context with this movie! Apartheid was still in place at South Africa and Mandela was still in prison. Kaffir is a racial slur for Black South Africans akin to the American N word.

Anthony Caples

Another good comedy with Joe Pesci is Easy Money from 1983. Also starring Rodney Dangerfield

Craig G

Your voice volume was good on this one! Now keep it exactly the same and turn the movie volume up 1 notch.

Riggs (and Mel Gibson) are fans of "The Three Stooges" he was watching them on TV. They were "slap-stick" comedians (1920's to 1970) basically popular for smacking each other around. Riggs actually mimics them a bit throughout the films. Great reaction! Hope you get to the other 2 movies soon...

Please check out Loaded Weapon 1. It's a parody of Lethal Weapon and other action films. I think you'll enjoy it. It stars Samuel L. Jackson, Emilio Estevez, Tim Curry, and William Shatner plus a bunch of cameos.

I'm a '79 model, so when I saw this as a kid, we had no idea there would would a third. We genuinely thought that Riggs was dying and it was very emotional. The on-screen chemistry between Gibson & Glover is unmatched until today. I love Bad Boys, but when it comes to buddy cop movies, no duo will ever match these two, imo. I'd love to hear other movie duos that have better chemistry.
