We love ya Amber, even if you are a tad(a lot) sheltered, lol. Took you a minute to figure out who Eazy was(even thought they told you in the first 2 mins) and not knowing who 2Pac was was heartbreaking, but maybe you can open up to some 90s hip hop reactions. 2Pac & Outkast are my all time faves personally.

The Mad Icelander

Ok, it took me a minute to get back here. I wanted to give you some background and better understanding of what happened to E. He was diagnosed in February 1995. He passed 1 month and 3 days later. Due to him having so few T Cells, he had to of had it a minimum of 8-10 years. The saddest part is 9 months after his passing came Protease Inhibitors, the medicine that changed the game. US AIDS-related deaths fell by 29% in 1996 and 48% in 1997 due to the new meds. In 1996 HAART (Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy) came out and started the "cocktail" of medicine, usually 3 different ones to control it, kill it and keep it from reproducing. If he'd only lived a teensy bit longer he would still be alive today, possibly. I've seen miracles happen right before my eyes with HAART. There's still SO much more that needs to be done. The cure needs to be found. People may be living with HIV or AIDS now but the medications take their toll on the liver. I just want to see the cure before I die. I've been an active HIV/AIDS activist and educator since 1986, so seeing all the beautiful faces of those I love cured would mark a huge moment in my life alone, let alone the world!

I don't believe that one. I've heard it but it's not truthful enough. For as sick as he was he'd already had HIV/AIDS 8-10 years. No way to get around that unless Suge is psychic. 🤣🤣🤣

Would love to see/hear you react to the "Straight Outta Compton" Album...not the soundtrack, the actual album. It was fun watcthin' this movie w/ you

Paul Johnson

I'm glad you did this. I'd never seen it, but was somewhat interested in watching it, but may not have. I agree with your casting comments! Cube casting his son to play him was brilliant, especially given that his son is pretty much the spitting image of his younger father. I thought the big guy was Suge Knight, Tupac I could tell just by the doo rag, since most pics I'd seen of him were like that. I also agree with the Snoop Dogg observation: wasn't sure who that was until he started speaking. I didn't know that Eazy-E had passed, but that's probably just because I'm not into rap/hip-hop by and large. You've already dipped you toe--at least a bit--into hip-hop, given all the Beastie Boys you've done. And their video for 'Three MCs and one DJ' was recommended, and I'd second it...great if your a scratching fan! Overall I thought it was a great movie. You knew things with Jerry were eventually gonna go sideways when you saw Eazy just sign paperwork without even reading anything! A lot of that went on, going all the way back to the 60s and beyond...groups and/or artists getting screwed over by sketchy contracts and management. I thought you had already done Friday, guess not. That'll be a fun watch, it's a funny movie. I like Ice Cube as an actor cause he's almost always angry...and it's funny as hell! When he went in to his mgr's office to bust it up, I was suddenly reminded of the scene in 22 Jump Street where he flipped the fuck out on the buffet line 🤣!!! Julian Edelman--retired Patriots WR--had him on his podcast sometime in recent months. As usual, Cube showed up in his Raiders gear. Edelman asked him "So what's it like being a Raiders fan?" Cube gave him this look and said "What's it like bein' a asshole?" 😂🤣 I'll keep my eyes peeled for the Friday(s) reaction(s)--can't imagine you'd just do the first one!

Marc Lamoureux

Great video--and Mix Master Mike with the scratching! I like the studio version, too, so I can figure out what the hell they're saying in the video 😂!

Marc Lamoureux

The actor looks like Ice Cube because it's his son

Jamie El

Just a music reaction suggestion- if you want to see a dj react to Beastie Boys video 3 MCs and one DJ

Jamie El

Also 2pac Resurrection is one of the great documentarys u should watch Also they might be hard to find being street documentarys but QD3 presents beef 1 and beef 2 are great videos on all the famous beefs in hip-hop

Also there's alot of uncertainties of how eazy conducted the aids virus which he only found out about 1 month before his death. And his wife or his children had no trace of the virus. There's a conspiracy theory that he was stab by a needle with traces of the virus that surge set up

Lewsifer

They were only mentioned by name in the flim but Bonethugs-n-harmony is another rap group u should listen to they were founded by eazy-e

Lewsifer

In real life E wasn’t beat up by suge and his people, ultimately Eazy had deep ties not only with the Crips but with the Mexicans over all it would’ve been trouble for both sides to put hands on him

fun fact. Jerry Heller truly hated in the HipHop Community for stealing from NWA, causing them to disband. ( Im a Proud member of the HipHop community btw lol) Suge Knight was completely feared by most people in the 90s, due to his violent actions towards others. Death Row is one of classic HipHop labels back in the 90s it had Dr. Dre. Snoop Dogg. Tupac and Suge Knight Kurrupt the Dog pound. Because of Dr. Dre we (HipHop) have Snoop Dogg. Eminem. 50 Cent it would be great to watch you react to the Friday series
