Only news edition: Hey everyone! I'm off for my long threatened vacation. I am leaving my frigid woods for somewhere decidedly more tropical. Gonna take a week with the family. Admire some fish. Spend quality time in a hammock and actually catch up on some reading. Maybe drag Starling kicking and screaming over the finish line. At the very least, a hell of a lot closer to having the first draft done. But mostly R&R.

Now, because I am not a monster, I will load up the chapters on Patreon and schedule them for release as usual. Barefoot Prophets may now wipe the sweat from their foreheads.

What is not as usual is that I am making all the chapters Awakened readers would usually get over the course of the next week available later tonight. I am doing this because while I will have some access to the internet, it will be spotty and not reliable. Unfortunately, I can't schedule changes to who posts are unlocked for, and have to do it manually every day. To ensure that you aren't left hanging for the week, and to prevent avoidable accidents, I'm unlocking them tonight.

I nearly slipped down a rock coverd frozen hill this morning. My tiny dog supported my careful climb down by constantly yanking on the leash, as my foot slid over the just-melting icey snow. Cannot, CAN NOT wait to be in a hammock, looking out over palm trees. Pro tip- Get some hibiscus tea for your ice tea. No sugar required, just load up your jug, fill your cup with ice, and enjoy. I sure will.
