This is part one of their ongoing post-apocalypse journey, continued in their cover of Dream On. They explain it as they're in a zombie apocalypse, with the zombies always just out of camera range. Here, they're trying to keep from being eaten by those zombies, while in Dream On, there's a heavy burden as they've lost Earl and J to the zombie horde, picking up Cesar and Omar as they travel from haven to haven. It will be interesting to see where this storyline leads them next.
