I grew up listening to the Cyndi Lauper version and actually singing along with it. But I don’t think that up until I watched this that I really appreciated the beauty of the lyrics. It is now my go to song when I’m doubting myself. I hope you come to love the song again just like you did at one time. It’s probably one of the most heartfelt pieces they’ve done. Have a good trip.

I think it was very respectful of the original vibe of the song, which was appropriate for it. I listen to it like an MTV Unplugged version of the song. Have a great trip!
