I just noticed that some of the petals on the Lotus Winion's flower are plucked/tattered. I assume that's where he got the lotus for the wine. I love all the clever little things that Mircy puts in their animations.

Probably the best reacter I've seen, nice clear voice with a neutral accent and i love the act of pausing to comment instead of saving all comments for the end.

2024-03-09 05:15:54 +0000 UTCThese are very Polites-worthy interpretations of "you shall be the final man to die", but alas what Polyphemus really means is "I'm still going to kill you all, but you'll be last!" Which brings the question: is he just being cruel or does he genuinely believe that living a few hours/days longer is worth watching all your comrades die? The other Cyclopes later go "we can tell you're suffering but since we're not in danger, suffer in silence" , I tend to think that he doesn't put much worth on companionship either...

2024-03-08 19:18:57 +0000 UTCMircsy's interpretation of Polyphemus isn't necessarily accurate, but it's my favourite because the point of Polyphemus is that despite him being monstrous he is a still a life that Odysseus has decided has to die, and so isn't much different than the infant. The absolute horror of Mircsy's Polyphemus almost puts the viewer in the same position as Odysseus. It's really interesting
