2024-03-16 00:29:16 +0000 UTCJay has confirmed in some of his short vids and stuff that when humans get back up vocals it is other humans like the crew typically and when the gods do it they can just do it with their powers. --spoilers for Ruthlessness-- It also cracked me up watching you realize what was going to happen to Odysseus in real time after he revealed his name. I thought you might have been making the connection that Tyson in Percy Jackson is a cyclops and son of Poseidon as well but this was also really interesting and funny to see, most reactions I've watched just have that power moment WITH Odysseus telling off the cyclops. Athena in Remember Them right before Odysseus does the dumb thing does say 'DON'T' which I guess was her warning and why he failed the test. My Goodbye I honestly think Athena was pushing his buttons on purpose trying to see if he COULD keep his head or she was showing him how emotional he was getting and trying to remind him that getting emotional gets people killed. She knows what's next and I honestly think even with Athena being who she is, she's still not on the same level as Poseidon and the gods, as far as I can think of, don't usually fight each other for mortals. Her whole 'this day you sever your own head...' she definitely knows what's going to happen now.
