Which Lydia The Bard song should I do first??

Mirabel’s song is more along the lines of what Lydia usually does - she takes a song from the movie and twists it completely to fit this new villainous character. So it may be the same basic music in the background, but the *lyrics* and vocals have changed. Meanwhile Tinkerbell’s song is NOT her usual content when it comes to these villain songs - it is an entirely NEW song created specifically for her take on villain Tink. New music, new lyrics, new vocals. But that doesn’t make it any less amazing - in fact I think the Tinkerbell song is one of her better ones (lol). I think there really is no wrong answer here… UNLESS you haven’t seen Encanto/heard the Encanto song “We Don’t Talk About Bruno.” If you haven’t heard that song or seen the movie, then Mirabel’s song is going to lose a LOT of its meaning and emotional impact. Meanwhile Tinkerbell’s song, even if you haven’t seen Peter Pan, the story is kind of woven within the animatic. And since it’s an original song, not hearing a song it was based off of won’t make it lose impact - because there IS no song it was based off of. This is running SO long (why do I talk so much 😭) but I also want to agree with the commenter who said to PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTIONS OF THE VIDEOS TO GET THE BACKGROUND CONTEXT OF THE VIDEOS lol. Otherwise it will be confusing jumping in media res.

Just a heads up, you might want to read Lydia’s description of her video before reacting to it, otherwise it is like jumping into the middle of a musical, with plot beats and character development just kind-of happening mid-song. (Unless you want to keep yourself guessing, in which case more power to you!)
