2024-08-27 13:20:45 +0000 UTCif it makes you feel any better, catherine did eventually reconnect with thomas after henry's death and the pair of them married. another fun fact, thomas was jane seymour's brother.

2024-07-05 08:53:43 +0000 UTCNm that Thomas was probably a creep who tried things with young teen Princess Elizabeth (Anne Boleyn’s daughter who was under the care of her stepmother Katherine) and she kinda enabled him…then died of “childbed fever” (same way Jane Seymour died)

2024-07-05 08:36:08 +0000 UTCI love how short Anne is compared to everyone else lol

2024-07-02 17:23:12 +0000 UTCYes I highly recommend watching the live version of the interlude in I Don't Need Your Love. (Them coming together speaking before they come together in song)

2024-06-30 23:27:15 +0000 UTCI got to see this with my 12 year old daughter who also loves the show and it’s absolutely just an amazing experience. Not only is it a great show, but the support the Queens show here, you just feel it through the theater. It’s a real moment. Not to mention All You Wanna Do opens conversations that while not fun, need to be had. It was a great way to more fully explore those.

2024-06-30 22:50:13 +0000 UTCBefore the queens come in to support Catherine parr, there’s a section where Parr makes them realize comparing themselves just means they’re stuck and they have this moment where they all go quiet scattered around the stage. Then they reveal the whole thing was a fake competition to show how wrong comparing them was and then they sing together.

2024-06-30 21:37:20 +0000 UTCWhile I love every queen's song, honestly I Don't Need Your Love is my #1, BARELY ahead of Don't Lose Ur Head

2024-06-30 21:32:53 +0000 UTCAnd this kind of makes sense when you relisten with that thought. Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend and Don't Lose Your Head start off with a similar clapping sound

2024-06-30 20:19:27 +0000 UTCKatherine actually reconnected with Thomas after Henry died and they got married, so at least she had a life after the king

2024-06-30 20:14:05 +0000 UTCFun fact that I learned is that these queens' personas/outfits/singing are based on famous female singers. Katherine of Aragon is Beyoncé (powerful, assertive, royal-like), Anne Boleyn is Avril Lavigne (playful, cheeky, rebellious), Jane Seymour is Adele (confident, sincere, heartfelt), Anne of Cleves is Niki Minaj (confident, bold, unapologetic), Catherine Howard is Ariana Grande (flirtatious, youthful, glamorous), and Kateryn Parr is Alicia Keys (wise, thoughtful, strong)

2024-06-30 20:13:11 +0000 UTCloving the reactions! i'm surprised you haven't noticed any female popstar references like the riff of "time to rise ab-o-o-o-o-ove!" is very mariah carey and the "so all my women can independently atudy scripture" alludes to Destiny's Child <3
