And by short I mean short, B&N caps the notes to 250 characters, so you didn't miss much by not reading it. I actually wanted to get the book for you before you started your Hadestown reactions, but then you started the series earlier then anticipated and I ran into some problems ordering it (because I don't live in the US so the process isn't entirely frictionless). But I'm very happy that you've got it before Act 2 starts. Yes B&N wouldn't let me order the book unless I put in a surname.
