Song Of Durin - Geoff Castellucci | Unedited Reaction

Comments

We’re among the lucky ones - the 8 huge trees near our cottage fell the other direction. One took out a neighbor’s deck, another landed on a roof. 5 neighbors lost their homes to tree falls. 6 others have moved out for repairs. We are among the 20% with water (must be boiled). Last night we finally got connected to the world with internet, telephone, and television. Horrific landslides have wiped away roads, bridges, & entire communities. So far, the death count for our county alone is over 70. I’m impressed by the support we’ve received. Military helicopters are dropping supplies to people isolated by destruction. The Army Corps of Engineers is working to restore washed out supply lines from main reservoir, rebuilding water treatment plants, building bridges, and repairing dams. We survived a tropical storm - I cannot imagine going through a hurricane. Am incredibly thankful we sold our ocean side Longboat Key condo!

🫂 I will be keeping you in my thoughts

After 10 days of dealing with hurricane damage, I’ve pirated WiFi to try to catch up. This was worth it. Estimates are that it will be a month before we get traffic lights, clean water, phones, internet, gasoline, stores, ATMs, deliveries, etc. I will miss everyone.

Clamavi de Profundis are absolutely amazing and I listen to all their LotR somgs A LOT. They’re so good, and it is nice to have songs that I can sing along to, instead of the tenor stuff.

Would you look into reacting to songs from Goosebumps the Musical?

Honestly it might not be his deepest or bass-iest cover, but honestly I’d rate it as pretty high on my favorites of his lord of the rings covers. I see fire and song of durin are my favorites for different reasons but still just as good reasons XD

YES YES YES!!! clamavi de profundis is incredible! This, lament for boromir, and some of bilbo/the hobbits songs like I sit besides the fire and think, roads go ever on and Bilbo's last song are my absolute favorites

Jonathan Fleischer

the middle part reminded me of god rest ye gentlemen

I love this version of this song, but I also highly recommend listening to this song by Clamavi de Profundis, and some of their other songs too
