Even if it's a patreon exclusive I'd enjoy it, especially as someone who has a two/three slide comic idea for the lyrics "Those eyes like fire, I'm a winged insect (for my Pegasus/hybrid character), and you're a funeral pyre (for my unicorn character who specializes in magic missile/offesinsive magic), come now bite through these wires I'm a waking hell and the gods grow tired (literally trapped in barbwire begging their partner to help so they rejoin the war)" just bc it fits them So well And yes it's a mlp characters but for my Fallout Equestria based fanfic lol, this song is Such a oc staple

2025-05-19 14:49:38 +0000 UTCLoved this. So let me just say! Here's why I think the fade out ending was really good, even if you didn't dig it! I think it was actually a choice. I've read the lyrics as him at the start begging to come back to what he had, hence the "we don't know what we had till it's gone" sorta cliche line that as you said still works for you. At the end he's *screaming it* out of rage. But, it's impotent rage. Ignored. It's like the person he's pleading with, and screaming at, is walking away. Leaving him with whatever anger he's stuck with. That's my take though.

In case your curious it goes Sundowing, This place will become your tomb, take me back to eden, and then even in arcadia as it tells a story. it’s okay if you don’t but i think it’d make the experience more raw and enjoyable
