Lydia the Bard - Ariel's Siren Song + Don't Cry For Your Daughters Eve

Comments

I love the reaction! All the other recommendations are fantastic, definitely you should check out more of her original songs! i'd also like to recommend her "Devil 'fore the Fall" and "Afraid of Quiet" songs too, they're so good!

Also I wanted to leave a little comment, since I do want to encourage a Feed Us Your Girls reaction. However- very important, there are some triggers you in particular may have a hard time with. For sure look at the trigger warning at the beginning of the video before recording before you're sure if you want to react. It's a good song, but it's not one I can listen to on repeat for that reason. Take care of yourself!

Oh Lydia’s original songs are wonderful— I’d definitely second the recommendation for Seven Seconds to Breakdown and Feed Us Your Girls (though I’d be cautious of the themes with that one given your reaction to all you wanna do), but I’d also highly recommend Afraid of Quiet which was one of my top songs on streaming last year… Given the way you are about Epic Aphrodite’s War Song could also be a great one, and she did recently release a Hazbin song for Lute called Old Testament which is a lot of fun

Idk why, but watching ur reaction to dont cry for your daughters eve, made me feel the most emotion I ever felt for this song. And Im at work trying not to cry... ... guess songs only hit with their true meaning for me when some one actually explains it so it my brain absorbs - hopefully using allergies as accuse with explain my eyes now-

I know you mentioned how you probably don't have a leg to stand on when talking about women's struggles. But as a woman- I would like to say at least personally, the idea that you even know that it's a problem, at the idea you're willing to attempt to connect and understand the problem. Even if you don't fully- is an incredibly powerful thing to me. It may sound a bit sad- but the victim blaming and general degrading of women is pretty common where I am, so just seeing anyone, especially someone who hasn't had to personally deal with that sort of thing notice, and at least attempt to understand is so hope-inspiring. So I hope you won't feel too bad saying comments on things about this in the future. Either way- Lydia's great. And I'm glad you gave this one a chance. When I saw it, I thought of you, and hoped you could get around to it.

All these comments are very valid with their recommendations and I would like to add "Seven Seconds to Breakdown" that song and video made me cry

Wow, Lydia never fails to surprise and impress me! The artists she works with are always top notch as well. My eyes and ears are happy. Don't Cry For Your Daughters Eve might be my favorite audible and visual piece of art this year.

Yep, you’ve GOTTA watch more of Lydia’s original songs. As a woman who has more then experienced it, “Feed Us Your Girls” is an amazing song and hard hitter

I'm so happy that you are finally back to Lydia the Bard songs, especially with her amazing originals❤️ If you are a fan of "Don't Cry for your Daughters Eve" then you should definitely react to "Feed Us Your Girls" and "Are You Listening?" (animated verion). Also I always push for reacting to her another original song: "Aphrodite's War Song", which I'm just succker for. In my opinion they are just MASTERPIECES❤️

I'm so happy to see you react to more of Lydia! You should definitely check out her original song Seven Seconds to Breakdown, it made me cry like a baby and I think it might do the same for you too. Another original by her called Are You Listening? is also an absolute banger!
