Genuine question about Patreon format

I explicitly try to keep my Patreon a completely different format than my youtube, and therefore a different format than many other reactor Patreons. Instead of content on a set schedule, you get them whenever I record them, which means there are often big gaps where you receive nothing on this platform, followed by significant content drops. What do you all actually think of this format?

I wish I could have a little more information on how long I'll have to wait for the content I'm excited for. But I still want to receive the content as soon as it is available.

i enjoy the binge content for sure. as others have said when its mostly things i'm not interested in (eg. hazbin/etc has never interested me) it can be a little more of a debate of if i can afford to pay the patreon for a month where im not likely to get anything im into, but i'm mostly just here to support you as a creator and i dont expect that everything you ever do will appeal to me specifically, so its never really that big of a deal to me i just may unsub for a month or two here or there if i cant justify spending money on content i wont likely watch

I enjoy getting the videos as you record them! That's the hot-off-the-press inside scoop feeling that makes it exclusive - and therefore valuable. Keep the scheduled content for youtube. No shade to Casper but knowing that he prerecords and puts it on patreon at a set time and then youtube a bit later... just doesn't hit the same. My capitalist monkey brain goes "apparently I'm already waiting, so I can wait a bit longer." Absolutely no shade to Casper, his way is just a different way. My brain LOVES infrequent rewards: you know you're gonna get something, at some point, but you don't know what or when. That plus the "inside scoop" element makes me vastly prefer your current way of handling patreon. "Hiatuses" don't bother me one iota. In fact I am a firm believer that we should work with the natural rhythm of our body and mind. Especially for ADHD people. I hate nothing more than mechanically putting myself through the motions when my energy and attention are clearly off. We are not machines!

I like the binge format. Life happens and sometimes make a hiatus, and due to finances I have to stagger my subscriptions so I will cancel and resubscribe later occasionally anyway, and the buildup of bingeable content works for me to put on while I work and get caught up. I also agree with others that I like to see the process as it’s happening instead of waiting for a schedule!
